Writers Notes: Hi there! Just wanted to add a little note saying that the pieces of the story are NOT in the correct order, and that should be taken into consideration. Bye!

It was late. Very late. The ceremony had been going on for hours, and it was only getting later. Rebecca checked her watch. 11:57. She let out a quiet sigh and slunk down further into her seat. She had always hated funerals, and this was no different. Lady hadn't been a good friend, and was nothing special. An acquaintance, nothing more. They had met in a drawing class in town, and exchanged numbers. That was it, and she was still invited to the funeral. Rebecca wanted to leave, but it would be harsh on Lady's family. She glanced over at them all, huddled under a tattered old umbrella, sobbing. She sighed again as she let the rain run off her nose and drip onto her lap. At least, she thought it was rain until it dropped into her mouth and tasted salty. She was crying, actually crying! This never happened, and only happened on very special occasions, not at an acquaintances funeral. Whatever, it would end soon, and the sooner the better.
