(Okay, so this is just a "filter chapter," but this will come back in the next book, that'll take place in... DANGIT, forgot the name!)

Me and Kitty could've won the challenge.
We should've, but I gave it to Noah.
Then again, he saved my life.
I'm falling for him.
What does this mean?!
If we end up as a couple, what if he's like Harvey?!

These had been Emma's thoughts for the last hour, as she took a hot shower, to help relax her muscles. Her last boyfriend, Harvey, had been a player. If she had met him now, she could've seen straight through the act.

Then again, that was 3 years ago.

Emma sighed. She still remembered  freshman year, meeting him, her falling straight down for him, and him cheating on her, with another girl.
Emma also remembered meeting him again in a coffee shop in her senior year. She was still foolish, going to parties every Saturday night, never studying, always partying.
Looking back at it now, Emma sometimes laughed. Right now, she could feel cold tears threatening to spill.

She was strong now.
He past was the past.
She had changed, for the good of it.
She had been fixed, but every once in a
blue moon, those cuts opened again, and
she broke.
Guess tonight was a blue moon.

Emma finally stepped out of her room, and sat on her bed, playing her "fight song." It was by an artist, Ed Sheeran. The song was called "Don't."

"I met this girl late last year
She said don't you worry if I disappear
I told her I'm not really looking for another mistake
I called an old friend thinking that the trouble would wait
But then I jumped right in a week later returned
I reckon she was only looking for a lover to burn
But I gave her my time, for two or three nights
Then I put it on pause until the moment was right
I went away for months until our paths crossed again
She told me I was never looking for a friend
Maybe you can swing by my room around ten
Baby bring the lemon and a bottle of gin
Well be in between the sheets 'till the late AM
Baby if you wanted me then you should have just said
She's singing la la la la la
Don't *bleep* with my love
That heart is so cold
All over my own
I don't..."

Emma smiled. She always imagined a girl singing this, cause it reminded her deeply of her ex.
Now that she felt a bit better, she walked out of the room, smirking.

She needed to get her mind of Harvey.
So why not take a trip to the mall?
