After the Great Desolation War in December 22, 2225, humanity is a society with no faith at all. The remaining crusaders have left the planet. The Second Adversary was killed. The remaining pagans also were either fleeing or killed. Technological advancement was rapid.
A new Scientific Revolution begins. New technologies have been introduced everyday. Economies rise at a sharply accelerating rate. Humanity enters a new era of expansion towards new planets, as fast as three galaxies in just a few centuries.
Since June 22, 3654, the World's Federated Alliance is formed from the modern-day United Nations.
On the other side of the Universe, though, the Ensemble is preparing for conquest of the Human race due to the religions destroyed by the OIER in the past years.
In 4220, the Pentagon Alliance between the leaders of the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, and West Russia was formed. They were led by Jacob Charles, Joseph Finzler, Reinhard Rimmler, Jean-Michel Rabellard, and Ivan Pachenko, respectively.
December 22, 4224, the Ensemble opens up a portal in Japan. The new Emperor named Shinigami Kurishima said to all the observers:"You will bow to the will of the Ensemble, or you will all die."
The Ensemble conquered nearly all of the Eastern Hemisphere.
Meanwhile, another race was spotted near Antarctica. It was dubbed as the Unknown Race. They were also another progressive race. They had to do everything to be in touch with Earth's atmosphere. They became allies with humanity in the last war.
Another one, the Portal Terrorists, led by an unknown cult leader and army led by HP Lovecraft himself, seeks to destroy the human race due to their modernity.
The Crusaders have returned after the return of Pope Peter CLXVI.
Jacob Charles was elected as the 1st Human President.
The Human Race became the Western Science Federation, the Ensemble became the Eastern Magical Alliance, the unknown Race became the Southern Polar Army, the PTs became the Northern Imperial Force, and the crusaders, well, became the Central Crusader Coalition.
A new all-out war is about to begin.....
