Chapter 3: Man Named Louis

Morning time came faster then I had hoped it would of. I went over to wake Sammy. 

Sammy wake up its time to go now. Wake up. I don’t wanna. She said as she rolled over. Well you are gonna have to. I grab her and put her own my back, I put my bag across my font, and start walked out the door. Get as much sleep as you can okay? smiling at her. I tried to be as nice as I could. She just lost her mother, it must be tuff, but weirdly she hadn't cried once like it didn’t even effect her at all. Well she must be holding it all in. I wouldn’t really wanna open up to a stranger who back I’m riding.

 We started heading towards the woods and, Sammy is still sound asleep. Finally about half an hour later she wakes up. Good morning sleepy head. More like good afternoon. Good morning. She says wiping her eyes in a sleepy manner.

 Where are we?

We are in the woods. I don’t  know really where to go. My main goal was to find my parents but since they weren’t….. never mind just I’m looking for another place to settle for the day and gather some food for the both of us before nightfall.

 Okay. She said kicking her legs in a way to let me know she wanted me to put her down. Finally haven the wait of a child on my back was gone I stretched first a little then started walking, but made sure to taking Sammy hands so she didn’t wonder off.

 Marry had a little lamb who fur was-

Shush Sammy I don’t want anything to hear us.

  I coverd her mouth. The last thing I wanted was for one of those things coming after us I doubt she can protect herself from one of the,. 

AWW gross. I quickly pulled my hand off her mouth and whiped the spit from it. Get back here Sammy. I yelled running after her. I finally catch up to her, but she seemed frozen in her foot steps. I look ahead and now I know why she’s scared. I grabed her hand and slowly walk behind a tree. 

Stay right her Sammy okay? Okay. she said in a hushed voice. I sneaked over to the odd figure. I get right behind him and pull out my stick and I hold in up in the air. 

Now now Girl what's that about.

 I’m frozen, and I can’t move out of pure fear. I put both of m hands up and drop my stick. I’m terrified, I’ve never had a gun pointed in my face before, I bet a lot of people haven’t. 

ANGIE!! Sammy yelled out. 

Stay back Sammy don’t come any closer. I say putting my hand out. 

So what were you planning on doing with that stick? He says lifting an eyebrow.

 I thought you were one of them. I say shaking out of pure fear. 

One of who? He says getting angered. 

One of those walking things I don’t know what to call them, all I know is that there dangerous and I don’t test my luck with them.

 Good you better not. He lowers he’s gun, turns around and starts walking away.

 Wait! I yell and Sammy finally coming up and grabbing my hand.

 What? He says.

 Where are you going?

 I’m going back to my base.

 May we follow you?

 Now why would I do that?

 Well the fact when you see two young girls out in the woods with man eating animals out wild you don’t just leave them.I said a little loud.

 Can I even trust you, seeing what you almost did to me with god knows what that was. He says yelling.

 I thought I told you I didn’t know you were still.. Human, and besides if you thought I was a threat why didn't you just shoot me before?

 Whats the point of spilling blood of more people when half of them are already dead.

 Well if this is what you call dead. Also I wouldn't kill that little girls only protection just becasue I thought you were crazy. He turns back around and starts walking away again.

 Please I beg you let us come with you this young girl has just lost her mother. I promise we won’t be a Burdon.

 A few moments past. Okay fine. He keeps walking but waves his hands in a motion to follow him.

We get to his tent and he goes in then comes out with a bag.

 What’s in there. I ask cautions pulling Sammy behind me.

 What’s in this bag is as dangerous as that stick you had. He says smirking.

 Come here. He says in a demanding voice.

 I slowly walked over to him. Turn around. 

What are you doing. I quickly say to see a black collar like thing in his hand. 

I am going to put this around your neck if your coming with me to my base. 

Oh no your not. I say angrily. 

Yes I am if you wanna come. He gives me a serious look.

 Fine. He puts the collar around my neck, then pulls a remote out of the bag. 

What I just put own you is basically a shock collar, I don’t trust you yet so I’m going to use this to keep watch on you if you do anything you shouldn’t it will as I said shock you. he pushed a red button on the remote.

 AHH! I cough, fall to the ground, grabs and pulls on the collar. Then I get shocked again. 

It also shocks you if you try to take it off with out me pushing the release buttom which allows me to take it off of you.

You! I can’t believe I let you put this on me. I get up and run at him then is shocked rougher then before. 

This also has different levels of shock power so I would watch what you do or say miss Angie.
