Chapter 10 (Cloud Getting Clear)
Scarlett Point of View:
Okay! So what did I do this time now? She just ran out, yes just like that! Now, everyone is watching me running after her.
“I told you everything already, and said sorry, what’s wrong?” I asked her, pulling her hand so she stop running.
“You” she screams, pushing me away.
“What did I do now? Did I say something wrong? I’m sorry if I did!” I try to calm her down.
“Nooo... What you did, was you didn’t say anything!” she walks away.
“Calm down. Can we sit down and talk! It’s embarrassing to argue in the middle of the street in London.”
“No… Yes, this is embarrassing. Everything is embarrassing to you. Yes! Ms. Perfect! Who cries over nothing?”
“No! You’re not insulting me! You’re just making fun of yourself in front of everyone else. Just calm down”
We got in a Taxi and got back to our dorm. No sound was made during the Taxi ride.
“Look! What’s wrong?” I slam the door as Shelby sat down on her bed.
“I know you want to move, just move then!” She threw her pillow at me.
“Are you mad because I’m moving?” I sat right next to her.
“Yes! Why are you leaving without me? I thought the point of coming to London was to bring us together, but you’re just walking further away from me. Too far. I can’t run after you anymore.”
“If this was the problem then I could just fix it easily! I’m sorry! It’s just that I thought you love the dorm room and stuff.”
“No, I love the dorm room because I’m with you! We are best friend don’t you remember?”
“Yes! I’m sorry!” I hugged her. That was the tightest hug ever. It was the first time we had a huge argument and I hope it’s the last time!
