Detective Mai

Normal POV

A black van pulled through the victorian styled mansion driveway. Finally arriving close to the front door, the black van stopped as the large brown doors open to reveal a large built man that looked around to be in his early 40's. A black clad man was the first to come out of the van following by an older looking man that had one eye covered by his hair. Another was a petite brunette that was carefully taken out of the van by the black clad man holding his hand out for her to take. She smiled as she thanked the blue eyed man as he gently smiled but quickly wiped all emotions on his face. He grabbed her hand as he quickly tolds orders to the remaining people that were exiting the van.  Ignoring the groans and complaint by a certain red head he headed toward the man standing at the door still holding Mai's hand. The man flashed them a smile as he gestured towards the inside.

"It's good to finally meet you Mr. Davis. I hope your drive here was alright." The man asked as Naru nodded while Mai snorted. The man raised an eyebrow at the petite brunette.

"It was far from alright sir but it's over now, but not to be rude but may I use your kitchen. We had a long ride and a nice cup of tea would be delightful." Mai asked flashing her one and billion smile. The man just stared at her for a moment before nodding asking one of the maids to show her around.

"Mai.." Naru started as he eyed the maid suspicously.

"Oliver I am fine. I promise to do what you told me too." Mai stated as she pecked his lips not saying his nickname to confuse the owner. Naru nodded slowly as he gave her a charm of protection neckalace. Mai just smiled as she put it on giving Naru one last kiss and saying goodbye to the owner.

"Lovely lady isn't she. I bet she would be wonderful mother." The man told as he his gaze lingered on where Mai used to be. Naru eyes narrowed as he slowly nodding.

"How'd you know she was pregnant?" Naru asked suspiciously eyeing the owner of the house. He snapped out of his gaze as his eyes widen in realization of what he just said.

"Oh... uh it's just that I knew someone who was pregnant at that stage... ah ha - ha - ha... How 'bout I show you where the base is." The man said as he walked away motioning Naru to follow. Naru raised an eyebrow as he observed the middle age man.  "May I asked what the young lady name is?"

"Mai Taniyama, but she's now Mai Davis." Naru said smugly liking how Mai is all his. The man eyes widen as he heard Mai's last name.

"Taniyama! The Taniyama, I thought all the family of their bloodline died in the accident." The man semi-yelled. "Who else survives? Did Annabelle or Ayko did??" Naru eyes were slit as his mother-in-law name was told.

"Not to be rude Mr.Selitor (forgot to put his name didn't I?) but how do you know my mother-in-laws name?" The man started to stutter as he was looking anywhere but Naru. As soon as he was about to open his mouth Mai came into the hallway carrying tea and some snacks. As soon as she saw Naru her eyes lit up, rushing towards him.

"Naru I thought you would have been the base already?" Mai asked sweetly handing him a cup of tea. "I was heading there while talking to Mr. Selitor. He has some useful information but he's saving them for the interview." Naru glanced at the Mr. Selitor as he gave a nervous nod. Suspiciously eyeing her husband Mai just nodded before handing Naru a sandwich.

"You must be hungry, I'll prepare something after I deliver these snacks to the crew, but since were all heading towards the base, let's go together." Both men nodding they followed the quirky brunette.

"So Mr. Selitor how do you know my mother and Auntie?" Mai asked as both men paused.

"H-how did you-?" "I know things that you don't know, plus I remember someone with THAT last name. Now do you want to tell me what's going on are shall I explain everything from your past to my dear husband. But one way or another he'll find out and let me tell you he's not going to be pleased." Mai said politely as she handed Naru the tray of foods, as she grabbed a grape.

Naru glared at the middle age man as he step between him and his wife, putting her behind his back with one hand as the other was still holding the tray. Mai blushed as both her hands were running down Naru's back making shiver. Mai stopped as she went to grab another grab.

"Well *crunch* are you going to tell hin or not." Mai ushered as she gazed at Naru not really caring whether or not he was going to spill. Naru looked back at Mai as he return the loveing gaze.

"What are you hiding from me Mrs. Davis?" Naru asked as he kissed the tip of her nose.

"Nothing Mr. Davis, I just remembered as soon as I saw him." Mai replied pecking his lips.

Mai just sighed as she stared at the man as he was glaring at the blue eyed boy. Guessing he wasn't going to spill information, Mai quickly grabbed the tray back heading towards the base.

"Your name is Stephen Selitor, real name is Andrew Rose, cousin of Annabelle rose AKA my mother. You cursed someone which was against the family laws, which cause you to be disowned and stripped of being a Rose. You were furious and ploted a war against the Rose and Taniyama as they were there biggest allies. But all else failed you lost. Throughout your mind during revenge you found love. She was the only one for you but somehow along the way as she was pregnant, you had an affair with her best friend. Causing a fight between those two and deaths. Of both your beloved. There both fighting here still angry at eachother and you want to get rid of then as both are in your guilty coinscience." Mai stopped as they were infront of the base door. Mai turned around facing both men.

"Your the reason there both still here." Mai said as he turned around opening the door, heading in.
