Chapter 1 : The Class Project

My name is Tori Vega I am 16 years old I go to Performing Talents Academy I sing, dance, and act but I love to sing I have a best friend who goes there named Cat Meyers she is awkward but always there for me and my boyfriend Stephen James he plays guitar and he is okay sometimes he can lose his temper but he always makes it up to me today in class we were supposed to get a project but I forgot my my notebook so I turned around and bumped to Beck he said " Oh wow okay that's hot coffee " I was in shock I got my sleeve and I started to wipe his shirt I said " I am so sorry I'll take it out " he just stood there he smiled and said " I think you're making it worse than better " I stopped when his girlfriend Jade said " Step away from my boyfriend you dumb Barbie " I walk away and just sit down when Mr.Stevens walks in he said " Okay the project we're doing is called 2 love songs you will write one with a partner and another one on your own they will be due in a month so I got your partners already so Jade you're with Robbie, Cat is with Andre so when you see her tell her Beck you're with Tori so get into your pears and talk about what you gonna do " I sighed as I got Beck it's not that I don't like him it's that I kinda do he is cute but then I am dating Stephen so I'm okay and he is dating scary Jade he walks over and said " So sorry about Jade I'm Beck by the way " I nodded as he sat down I said " You can come over today after school cause the sooner we get the song done we could start our separate projects so here is my number so you can tell me when your outside so I could let in my house " he nods as the bell rang I see Stephen and he smiles as he hugs me and I see Beck staring but I push off that weird feeling Stephen said " Hey babe I think we should hang out what do you say " I pouted and said " I can't I have to do a project with Beck we have to write a song so he's coming over today " Stephen said " I don't trust him " I looked at him and said " Babe I have to do or I'll fail would you me rather go to his place " Stephen thought about it and said " Yeah " I sighed again boys are complicated I see Cat talking to Beck I didn't even know they knew each other I walked over and said " Sorry to interrupt but I need to talk to Beck " Cat smiled and walked away Beck said " Let me guess Mr. Douchebag doesn't want me to go over to your house so Imma fail the class " I was a little mad he had no need to be a smart ass I said " Half way true I need your number so I could meet you at your place " he smiled and said " Fine let me see your phone " I gave it to him and he typed his number in and gave it back as I waited for the end of the day the bell finally rung and I started to walk but I grabbed my phone to look for Becks number when i saw what he put for the caller ID he put The Hot King Beck which is so not true well maybe a little I called him cause the address he gave doesn't look like a house it's a trailer he answered and said " You almost here I don't know can't come outside and I'll know where you live so when he came out he came out of the RV he said " Come in " as I walk in I said " Why do you live in a trailer " he smiled and said " Because if I live on my own I don't have to follow my parents rules and I like to be alone sometimes when I can plus I can have whoever I want over " I nod as I just stand up he looks at me funny and smiles again as he sits down I like his smile he usually doesn't but he did he said " Are you gonna sit down or would you rather stand for the entire song " I sit down and said " So I kinda thought of stuff as I was walking over here " he said " Okay tell me what you got so far " I never sang in front him only my friends and family but I knew I had to so I said " I don't want to make a scene I don't want to let you down Try to do my own thing And I'm starting to figure it out That it's alright Keep it together wherever we go And it's alright, oh well, whatever Everybody needs to know that's all I got so far " he looked at me but wasn't saying anything if he didn't like it he could at least tell me he just kept looking at me I said " Did you not like it cause you're not saying anything and you're looking at me weird " he said " No I like the song it's nothing what about this for the next part You might be crazy Have I told you lately that I love you? You're the only reason that I'm not afraid to fly And it's crazy that someone could change me Now no matter what it is I have to do, I'm not afraid to try And you need to know that you're the reason why and then we're done " he nodded and I got a Phone call from Stephen so I answered it and said " Hey what's up No I'm fine we actually just finished No it's late I just wanna go home and rest I'll see you at school yeah uh me too " when I got off the phone Beck laughed and said " Do you not love him because you kinda didn't say it back " I gave him look I don't know if I love Stephen I know I like him but I said " So it doesn't look like you and Jade get along so why are guys together " he didn't answer but he looked at me and got up when he said " See you around Tor " I nod as I leave I walk home to find my sister singing horribly as she sees me she said " Hey Tori were where you all night " I smile and look at her and I said " I was at Beck Oliver's doing a project what about you Trina " she looked at me shocked but she said " Practicing for a play " I nod as I go to my room and fall asleep think about how strange Beck was acting .

The next day I woke up like always but I had the weirdest dream and it was kinda scary because I dreamed about Beck and I dating and then Stephen got mad and punched Beck and then Beck fought back and then I woke up I just have to forget it and get ready for school so I put on a white long sleeve and a pair of blue jean shorts and my black high tops as I grabbed my phone I called cat and when she answered she said " Hey Tori hahaha what you doing " I smiled and said " Nothing just wondering if you were gonna pick me up " she said " uh I got a ride with Beck and Jade plus Robbie but we could go for you " I said " yeah okay I'm already outside " she said " Okay we're on our way hahaha " and when I got off the phone I waited and that's when I saw Beck driving up and when he stopped I got in the back with Cat and she gave me a hug and I did the same as we drove to starbucks Beck asked everyone what they wanted and everyone told him and he turned to me and said " Tor what do you want " I looked at him and said " I'm fine " he just nods as he paid for the drinks and we were headed for school and when got there we went to our lockers and Jade came up to me and said " Stay away from my boyfriend you big headed Barbie " I said " No offence but I have a boyfriend you protective assuming witch " she looked mad when Beck walked over not smiling he usually doesn't at school unless he hangs out with his friends Beck said " So Tor we need to finish a little bit more of the songs today so I'll let you know what time " I nod as I see Stephen he sees me and said " Tori I don't know if I could do this anymore I can't deal with guys flirting with most the time and I let it get to me this time around so it's over " I look at him and try to have my brave face on and I said " Okay well I hope we still could be friends " he said " Of course Vega I wouldn't stop talking to you " I smile but still broken as he walks away I head to class as I sit far back instead of being with friends and as the day went by I still have to go to Becks for the project and I don't know what to do or if I should even go as I walk home thinking about this I have trouble wondering if Beck will get mad at me if I just don't go I went to the front of my door and walked in when I saw my mom she said " Hey sweetie how was school " as I thought to myself it was horriable and depressing but I wasn't going to tell my mom that so I said " Okay I'm tired so imma go to bed early " she just nods as I got texts from Beck but ignored them and calls I even ignored Cat and Andre and went to bed not wanting to be bothered cause I don't wanna cry.
