It was a warm spring day, and I heard a knock on my door. I looked out the window, and saw Tobin Heath, who had been my girlfriend when I was Thalia. I was glad to see the tanned, New Jersey midfielder again, but I had to remind myself that I was Theo, not Thalia. I opened the door. "Thalia?" Tobin asked. "Who?" I asked politely. Tobin's face fell. "I'm sorry." she said. "It's just-you look familiar. Have we met?" "I don't think so." I said. "I'm Theodore Legolas Kenobi, but you can call me 'Theo'." "I'm Tobin Powell Heath." Tobin said. "You can call me 'Tobs'." we shook hands. "Nice to meet you, Tobin." I said. "Come in?" "Thank you." Tobin said. We went inside, to my living room, where we took seats facing each other. "So, what brings you here, Tobin?" I asked. "I don't know." Tobin said. "I just had a feeling I should come here." "When I opened the door, you said a name." I said. "Is that who you were hoping to see?" "Yeah." Tobin said. "She was my girlfriend. But she died five years ago." "Can you tell me about her?" I asked. "Where should I start?" Tobin asked. "How about with her name?" I suggested. "Her name was Thalia Galadriel Skywalker." Tobin said. "And she was the bravest girl I know. She looked a lot like you, actually. Same color hair, same color skin, same color eyes, same build, even your freckles are the same. But she's dead now." "How do you know?" I asked. "We looked everywhere for her after the battle." Tobin said. "We couldn't find a trace of her." "Who's 'we'?" I asked. "Me, her sister Abby Wambach, her soul sister Hope Solo, and her friends Carli Lloyd, Alex Morgan, and Megan Rapinoe." Tobin said. "And you said you couldn't find a trace of her." I said. "So that means you didn't find her body?" "No." Tobin said. "We didn't find her body." "Then how do you know she's dead?" I asked. "She could still be alive." Tobin looked at me, despair in her brown eyes. "Oh, Theo, I want to believe she's alive somewhere!" she cried. "But we've been searching for five years and found nothing, so I've given up hope." "You shouldn't give up, Tobin." I said. "She could still be alive. For all you know, she could be sitting right in front of you." "What are you trying to say?" Tobin asked. "I've missed you, Tobs." I said, changing form. I developed curves, and my hair grew longer, until I was sitting in front of Tobin, Thalia once more.
