Once apon a time......
Those words meant something to me.
A VERY long time ago, before it happened.
Not IT, it as in sex, but IT as in my daddy died.
Every night before i went to bed, my daddy would read me a story about fairy princesses and tell me one day i would fall in love and live happily ever after, like he and my mom did.
But then that horrid day. I was in 7th bell (latin to be exact, the worst class EVER) and the teacher got a message from the office. He smirked (because he was and always will be a dick) and said: "Victoria (thats me) please go to the office. You need to go home. DO NOT forget the assingment for tonight or i will give you ANOTHER detention.
I went to the office, excepting to be punished for the prank i pulled this morning with my best friend, Gloria.
FLASHBACK:
Me:hah Lincoln is going to be SO mad when he see's this.
(you see lincoln is the school "royalty", all the girls fall ALL over him and he is the most popular jock at our school. A couple years back we were friends but then his friends called me ugly and fat so he ditched me)
Gloria: LOL we are getting in SO much trouble for this, whose idea was it to but used tampons in his locker, yours or mine?
Me: You know it was me, i THINK of all the plans and you have the guts to do them ;)
Gloria:pshhh you have guts you just need a little encouragement. We better get to class before we get caught=]
FLASHBACK OVER
I'm nearly to the office thinking this when i see through the office door my mom with tears STREAMING down her face.
I'm getting worried because my mom NEVER cries EVER. Not even when her dog of 15 years died. sure she was sad but she didn't shed a tear (in public at least)
I sprint the last 5 feet to the office and go full out panic mode.
Me: MOM MOM MOM!!! Whats wrong? who's hurt? what HAPPENED???
I'm especially worried because if my mom was like this WHERE was my dad???!!!!!
Mom:Victoria, honny, it's your father
(what she never says "father"!!!!)
Mom:Th... th... there's been an accident.
Me: Mother. What. Happened.
Mom:Your father, he was at work (he was a mechanic) and he was working under a car that was suspended. It fell on him. They tried everything. They rushed him to the hospital but... there was nothing left that they could do.
Then everything went black.
