Chapter 5. Wolf Salute

'' i  will return dont ever hang you head''

today was the day of the battle, the vampires were on the field the wolves in the shadows, me and 2 other Lakota's were up behind the rocks, we waited in silence, then out of the shadows came the wolf pack and they had vampire's too, the battle began, i pounced onto one of the wolves, i attacked as many as i could get too, then just the vision i has a few weeks ago started to become real, '' no '' i screamed as i felt the dagger, i fell to the ground, i saw jackson at my side '' dont leave us '' he begged '' i'll come home when the full moon rises '' i told him it was a joke me and jackson told each other in school, '' i'll be okay dont forget the salute'' i told him '' i love you dont forget that.......'' was the last words that left my mouth before leaving my body, they say your life flashes before you enter heaven but that didn't happen to me, i was in a dream, walking along the banks of a river in a corset and red skirt with a red cape like red riding hood, i didn't know what was happening, i knew i wasn't dead, i had to return thats what it read in the lakota wolf book when i first found out i was a wolf, i needed to return to jackson...... this was real, i was here in this dream i couldn't wake up from, i made a promise and i was gonna come home, i walked thru this so called dream, in this dream i relived my favorite memory meeting jackson,

walking down the hallway school was finally out and as i was walking out the door i ran into someone '' i'm sorry '' i said to the boy i ran into '' no no its fine '' he told me '' i'm carson hale'' i told him he smiled '' jackson wittemore '' he told me, i started walking away '' wait will i  see you around'' he asked i turned around to look at him '' of course '' i told him, he smiled '' see you around '' he told me before walking away.

i loved that moment, it was the best memory i had, it made me feel at home, i saw this light shining down, something told me to go into the light but my heart told me no walk away and i walked away.
