"Holy shit." Daryl said as he stood over the body, he was looking at Garrett who didn't look up from Oscar's face. Jessica was looking up at Daryl with fright in her eyes. She didn't know this man. The man with long hair, and a dirty motorcycle vest, jeans with holes in the knees. He looked like a thug, he had a crossbow on his back. But he did not seem to be a threat.
"Daryl get away from them!" The man, Rick from the watchtower shouted still aiming down the scoped rifle.
"Hold up man!" Daryl turned to him and placed a hand up trying to show Rick that it was okay. He placed his eyes back on Garrett, the kid he knew from Hershel's farm. "Garrett?"
Before turning around and looking up at Daryl, Garrett placed his two fingers over Oscar's eyes and closed them for good. Then he stood up and looked at Daryl. Both men felt the tension in the air. They have both changed during the winter, one for the better, the other for the worst.
"We need to go Garrett." Jessica said as she wiped her tears away from her eyes.
"We....we ain't going anywhere." Garrett looked at her and then he looked at Daryl. "These people are going to let us in."
Daryl shakes his head slowly, he never heard Garrett speak in the manner he is now, it sounded as if he was going to force his way in, whether he was allowed to or not. "Are you two the only ones?"
Garrett placed his finger to his mouth, not caring about the blood from Oscar on his hands, then he let out a high pitched whistle. Mitchel leading the way came out first followed by Dylan, Davie, Rebecca, Lakota, Dave and William, along with the two kids Melinda and Maggie.
Daryl himself only recognizes three of them. When he sees Mitchel come out of the bush he practically wants to run up to him and shake his hand, but he holds his emotion because Mitchel does as well. "How's it going cuz?" Daryl nods his head towards Mitchel.
He holds his stub of an arm up and waves it back and forth. "I've been better Daryl." Mitchel says with no emotion. These two men are blood related, now they stand facing each other as if they are enemies. The truth is, they don't know each other anymore. They were afraid of each other.
"Open the gate!" Daryl yelled to the back and two people in prison uniforms ran forward, and opened the gates to the prison up. "Follow me if you want to come in." Daryl turned around and walked through the gates. Garrett was the first one to start walking towards the gate, then the others soon followed. William and Davie are the ones to grab Oscar's body and drag him towards the gate.
"Daryl." Rick says from the watch tower, he is pointing at the body of Oscar.
Daryl nods his head and takes out his knife. "Don't." Garrett said stopping him quickly. "We take care of our own." He grabs his colt from its holster and waits for his two friends to set the body down.

Daryl had taken the group that he once knew into a different section of the prison. They entered the prison block and there was a big "A" on it, giving it the name cell block A. Each prison cell was barely six feet by four, just enough room for a bed and a small toilet in the corner. The walls were the same thick grey stone as the rest of the dwelling. Thick metal bars with no glass made it feel un-homely.
The prison cells were a hollow cube of concrete, one way in, no windows. In there you could have no idea how much time had passed or even if it was night or day. It was totally disorientating by design. Given enough time a person could forget their own name in there. The isolation was total and the stimulation was zero. No sound, no light, no furniture or cloth of any kind, except a mattress. They were now the inmates.
