"Rydel, how would you feel about being in a relationship with Ellington?" They had a meeting with the head of management today, and these were the first words said to them as they walked in the room.

Rydel, wide eyed, took a seat between Rocky and Ross, and didn't know how to answer the head of management, Amy Harrison.

"Mrs. Harrison, I'm sorry to interrupt, but Rydel isn't looking for a relationship right now." Ryland replies from his seat on the other side of Ross, his overprotective side kicking in.

"We were thinking that since so many people want them to be in a relationship, it would be great for publicity if they actually were together." Mrs. Harrison says, folding her hands in her lap.

"I'm thinking no." Riker replies, sending a deadly glare in her direction.

"Riker, Ryland, we would like to hear Rydel and Ellington's opinion on this." Mrs. Harrison replies, an annoyed look on her face.

"I would be fine with it, but I'm thinking that Rydel is going to say no." Ellington says, sending a smirk in Rydel's direction.

"I would be completely fine with it." Rydel sneers, sending a glare in Ellington's direction.

"Great! I was thinking that one of you announces it online? Maybe do a Twitter ask and if someone asks if you're in a relationship, say yes, and when they ask who, tell them." Mrs. Harrison says, clapping her hands excitedly.

"Sounds great." Rydel replies grimly.

It was out, and the fans were freaking. Reactions ranged from 'I KNEW IT!!!!!' To 'I WANT KELLINGTON BACK'. Mrs. Harrison was right; they were gaining more publicity by the minute, and #RydellingtonIsReal was already trending on Twitter. Rydel wasn't happy with the fact that she had agreed, but decided that as long as they didn't have to act like a couple at home, she would be fine. She received phone calls from everyone, including her parents, and had to further explain that it was for publicity. Her parents weren't happy they either of them agreed, but knew that it was their decision. One phone call stuck out most to Rydel, though.

"Hello?" Rydel asks into the phone, not knowing exactly who was calling due to the number being unrecognized by Rydel.

"Hey Rydel, it's Kelly." The person on the other line replies, their voice shaking slightly.

"Kelly, what do you want?" Rydel sneers, remembering that her and Kelly still had some unresolved issues.

"Listen. I know that you're mad at Ellington, and at me. You have a reason to be angry with me. I also don't expect you to just trust me again. But you shouldn't do anything that you're not comfortable doing. No matter whether we're friends or not, I do care about how you feel, Rydel." Kelly replies, acquiring a soft tone to her voice.

"Whatever, Kelly. As if you actually care about my feelings." Rydel replies, anger evident in her voice.

"You know he wants to be with you, right? That's why he agreed. He thought it was a way to get closer to you. I know more about him than you think, Rydel. I was with him for a few years, and you learn a lot about someone in a long period of time when you're in a relationship." Kelly replies, no snobby tone to her voice at all.

"Whatever, Kelly. Goodbye." Rydel says, and she hung up on her.

Rydel knew she shouldn't have hung up on her, as she most likely has valuable information to share. But she also knew that among the people she was ready to forgive, Kelly wasn't one of them. But neither was Ellington.

As Rydel contemplated all of her thoughts, there was a knock on her bedroom door. She looked up, and saw Ellington standing in the doorway, a smirk lighting his face.

"What do you want?" Rydel says as she glares at him.

"I'm surprised you haven't forgiven me by now." Ellington says cockily, annoying Rydel more than he already was.

"Please tell me why you're here." Rydel says, slumping in her chair.

"I think we should practice being in a relationship, considering we have to pretend to be for who knows how long." Ellington says seriously, taking one step further into her room.

"What do you mean, practice being in a relationship?" Rydel asks, looking at him in curiosity as he makes his way towards her.

"Let's say I come up behind you, and wrap my arms around your neck." Ellington says as he walks around her, slipping his arms around her neck as she feels his hot breath on her ear.

"Then I'll be romantic." Ellington says, planting small kisses on her neck and along her collarbone, causing a shiver to go down her spine.

Ellington makes his way around her, looking straight into her eyes as he smiles, sitting down in front of her.

"You know you're beautiful, Rydel." Ellington says, smiling at her.

"Thank you." Rydel says, blushing but not looking from his eyes.

"You're not just beautiful. You're stunning. Gorgeous." Ellington says, cupping her cheek in his hand.

"No ones ever called me that before. At least, no one that means anything to me." Rydel says, her cheeks going ablaze again.

"I mean something to you?" Ellington asks.

"Of course you do, Ellington. You always have." Rydel replies, running her thumb lightly over his cheek.

And before he can reply, Rydel kisses him passionately.

So just a filler thing for all of you. I wrote this while I was waiting for my stepmom and my stepsister to get it if the dentist. I sat in the waiting room in the only single chair in the corner... I'm so anti-social. I randomly got this idea at school today, so I hope you all enjoyed. Sorry for not updating in over a month!
