Gemini's POV

I stare at him from across the classroom talking to Melissa, the most popular girl in school. I sigh when I realize that I'll never have a chance with Libra. The good thing is that we hang out with the same group of friends. My best friend,Pisces, taps my arm and whispers:

"Are you okay?"

I just smile and nod at her and she gives me a look saying "you better tell me" I just glance at Libra and Melissa and she instantly understands.

"Okay everyone, I'm going to assign you your partners for our essay project," Mr.Belling says, clearing his throat.

He goes through the list of names and he still hasn't called mine or Libra's name- oh crap.

"And finally Libra and Gemini." He says.

From the corner of my eye, I see Libra looking at me with a small smile. Okay, If Libra was not my crush then I totally would've looked and smiled at him, but oh well.

The bell rings and everyone piles out of the classroom, rushing to get to their cars or the buses. Pisces, Libra, Taurus, Leo, and I walk out the door as a group.

"So Gem," Taurus starts and I look at her, "Got anything that you wanna ask Libra?"

I glare at her. She and the other girls, plus Leo and Scorpio, know about my crush on Libra.

"Am I missing something?" Libra asks.

"Such a blind guy." Leo mumbles, rolling his eyes.

"Sweet Gem here, likes you! No, loves you!" Taurus says, loudly. Pisces and I shush her.

"Taurus, leave Gem alone!" Pisces exclaims in a motherly tone.

"Is that true, Gemini?" Lib asks. He called me by my full name, something he always does when he's serious. The others must have noticed it too because they gasped.

Maybe he would like me back.

"Yea, it is true." I say, looking into his gray eyes.

His eyes widen and he is still for a moment. I hear Pisces tell Leo and Taurus to go ahead and go. Now its just me, Pisces, and Lib.

"I'm sorry." Libra breathes out and then he runs away.

I feel tears at the corner of my eyes and my heart breaking. Pi rubs my back softly and walks me back home.

She leaves and I walk up to my room, ignoring my parent's calls. I lock my door and lay down on my bed. I start to cry into my pillow as I think about what could've happened if I didn't even say that it was true. Soon, I get a text from none other than Libra himself.

We still need to work on our essay project. Come over my house tomorrow.

I quickly wipe my eyes and type a small Ok.

I turn off my phone and get ready for bed.

*Morning*

"Gem?"

"Gem, wake up."

"GEM!" Someone shouts in my ear, making me jump up.

"What?" I groan.

"Get up." I finally recognize the voice, Libra.

I quickly stand up and look at him. His face turns to worry.

"Gem? Why were you crying in your sleep?" He asks.

I reach up and touch my cheeks, sure enough they were wet. I wipe them.

"I-I wasn't." I lie.

He sits on my bed and I sit next to him, he places his hand on my covered thigh.

"Look Gemini, I'm sorry for running away yesterday, you just caught me off guard." He says.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"I wasn't expecting someone like you to like me."

"Love." I quickly correct, making eye contact with him.

"Well, I just wanted to say that I love you too." He whispers.

I smile and lay my head on his shoulder and he gives my forehead little kisses.
