ZIPPER MO BUKAS!

"Mommy!! Zeppy just punched my face!! See! It's bleeding mommy!! UWAAAAH!" Said my four year old son, pointing out his lip na wala naman talagang dugo.

"Are you sure? Why would your sister hit your face?" I asked worriedly.. at the same time natatawa ako sa inaarte ni Zap.

"Because, she thought mommy loves me more than her! Mommy, punish her!"

Natawa nalang ako sa sinabi ni Zap.. "Zeppy come here, apologize to your brother."

"But mommy, I'm so jealous.. I don't feel sorry for hitting him!"

"Kids, mommy loves you all.. fair and square pero syempre.. ibang level ang love ni Mommy kay Daddy niyo.." ^___^ sabi ng asawa ko.

"Sorry Zap.. I won't punch you again.. I love you kuya.." she said pouting at her kuya..

"I love you too, little sis.." and they hugged each other.

"We raised them so well Kimi, I'm so proud of us!"

"Of course! Pero I still can't believe na you named them like that." I hit his chest playfully.

Notice the names of my kids?

"Honey, what's wrong? Because of THAT thing.. we're together." He said as he pressed his lips unto mine.

I smiled as I reminice the things that happened 10 years ago..

It was a very hot afternoon.. 3:00 in the afternoon to be exact. Nasa loob ako ng LRT at ang mga katabi ko sa upuan, lahat TULOG.

I was seating next to an old lady on my left, and a group of teenagers probably galing sila ng outing nila base na rin sa mga gamit na dala nila, and they're all sleeping!

I was the only one awake in this seat.

"PAPARATING NA SA GILMORE STATION"

Haay, ang tagal pa.. more stations to go before I arrive in Santolan Station, which is the last station to be exact.

Then a guy entered the LRT door and headed in front of me.

He was tall at abot niya yung bakal na kapitan sa itaas, he looked Korean.. he's handome too! And.. and..

>/////////< Wth! bukas ang Zipper ng pants niya! O___O

Imagine he is infront of me, at kitang kita ko ang bukas na zipper niya, revealing his navy blue underwear!

I must've been blessed by the Lord all mighty cause he was tall, so hindi masyadong nakatapat sa mukha ko ang nagsusumigaw niyang bukas na Zipper!

Then before I noticed it, it was 4 stations before I depart this LRT.

My mind was completely distracted by the VIEW na hindi ko alam kung saan ako lilingon.

If I face left, a scene of a couple of teenagers from I don't know which university it is na nagyayapusan like there's no tomorrow! *hello! PDA!*, at sa right ko naman ay isang super creepy na lalaking aakalain mo na isang myembro ng isang sindikato sa Pilipinas.

So I decided to close my eyes. "M-miss.. nahulog mo oh."

Minulat ko ang mata ko seeing the guy with the unzipped pants handing me back my handkerchief.

"S-salamat." That's all I managed to say.

Mabait naman pala siya, then I realized I have to return the favor.

I was planning to tell him about the THING that distracted me.

Pano ko nga ba sasabihin?

'Zipper mo bukas!'?? Parang ang hirap namang sabihin.

Or should I simply say, 'Navy Blue.'

WAAA! These thoughts made my face hot.

Napasulyap ako sa lalaki sa harap ko.. at nahuli ko siyang nakatingin sakin.

Kanina pa ba niya ko tinitignan? Agad din naman niyang inalis ang tingin niya sakin the moment na nahuli ko siya.

Is it me? Or did I see his face turned beet red?

"PAPARATING NA SA SANTOLAN TERMINAL STATION"

And there, it happened na sa Santolan din naman pala ang baba niya, and I haven't told him about his zipper yet.

Ugali ko'ng paunahin muna ang mga tao sa paglabas kasi ayokong makipagsiksikan.

Lumabas na yung mga tao, tumayo na ko at nagulat ako dahil nakita ko siya, yung lalaking bukas ang zipper na nakatayo sa may pintuan at nakatingin sakin. Kaming dalawa nalang ang laman ng LRT.

"Uhmm.. ano. Ano kasi, yung ano mo.. naka ano.." sabi ko, sana naman magets niya. That is the perfect timing para sabihing bukas yung zipper niya. Pero, sana naman magets na niya yun!

Bakas sa mukha niya ang gulat pero nakabawi din siya after.. 30 seconds? He looked at me in confusion.. "I've been waiting for this moment to come." Sabi niya.

Pero mas naconfuse ata ako sa sinabi niya. At ako ay naiwang nakatunganga sa kanya waiting for his words to come out.

Ikaw ba naman makakita ng stranger na bukas ang zipper tapos sasabihan ka ng 'I've been waiting for this moment to come'.

"Hindi mo ata ako natatandaan, pero lagi kitang pinagmamasdan kapag nakakasabay kita dito sa LRT. I even stalked you everytime na bumibili ka ng ticket sa booth. Nakakahiya mang aminin pero, I think I've fallen for you the moment I saw you. Hindi nawala sa isip ko ang memory na nakita kita. Your angelic face, your precious smile, and your lovely voice. Oh God."

Goodness!

"Kaya nang kausapin mo ko kanina kahit hindi ko naman alam yung sinasabi mo kasi puro ano lang yung naintindihan ko.."

He scratched the back of his head at natawa nalang ako sa ginawa niya. I find him cute sa gesture niyang yun.

He was perspiring too much at nakita ko'ng namumutla ang labi niya. "Will you allow me to court you?"

"Lumabas na kayo dito.. Bawal dito!" Biglang nag-appear ung guard sa gilid.

At pareho kaming natatawang lumabas at bumaba ng platform. Naabutan pa namin ang mahabang pila ng mga tao na palabas sa station.

"What's your answer?" I didn't notice it, pero I am doing HHWW (Holding Hands While Walking) with a complete stranger. Well, he doesn't look like a bad person to me!

I smiled at him "Zipper mo.. bukas." I whispered.

He then let go of my hand at agad na sinara ang zipper niya with his eyes wide open!

Tawa ako ng tawa sa ginawa niya lalong lalo na sa ichura niya!

"I take that as a yes." Bulong din niya sakin, and he kissed my cheek.

Teka, yes na ba yun!?

Things went so fast and it was a whirlwind romance. Nakakatawa lang na ganun kami nagmeet ng asawa ko.

That was the day I met Daehyun, after that, we became so close and finally end up together. At ngayon, dito na kami sa Chicago nakatira as a happy family with our kids, Zeppy and Zap.

Buti nalang, bukas ang zipper niya. :)
