New Life(1)

Ugh great another day at Willburn High. I am so sick of all of the shallow superficial brats that go here. I felt like I was drowning in a kiddy pool. The clock ticked away slowly and it was the first class of the day. I didn't want to be here. I would do anything just to get out of school.

"Neela." It was Bret behind me who whispered my name. He was the class clown so I knew I was getting into trouble as soon as I turned my head towards him.

"What?"I asked not interested in what he was going to say. He gave me an innocent look on his face.

"What I didn't say it."This was typical. I knew that as soon as I turned my head back he would call my name again.

"I feel bad about your arm." I said staring at him.

"What about my arm?"He asked. He didn't see it coming. I punched him hard and fast. It made him gasp out in pain.

"Aw steroid woman." He said rubbing his arm up and down to ease the pain.

"Then don't screw with me. I'm not in the mood to play your stupid games." I turned back around glad to hear him not call my name.

The rest of the day was okay. Now and then one of the guys would joke with me but I just punched them. That shut them up.

"What the hell is your problem Anderson?"Asked Rikki sitting next to me. He was one of my closest guy friends. He was the first person I got to know when I moved up here a couple of months ago. It was hard. I had moved to the country with my Aunt. I only got along with the guys seeing as how the girls were catty and back stabbers. Yet a lot of the guys were the same as the girls.

"You know just the normal usual day. Why you want some of what I'm giving out Rikki?" I asked lightly as my mood slowly dispersed.

"Naw I'm fine. Thanks for asking though." He said laughing.

My thoughts went back to my dream from last night. It seemed so real.

I was walking on a beach bare-foot with a dress blowing in the wind. The sky was blue with little wisps of clouds in the sky. It was warm and breezy. I thought I was alone until I saw a person laying in the sand a few yards in front of me. When I got closer I could see that It was a guy. He was bare-chested with blue swim trunks on. He hadn't seen me standing beside him.

I looked him over thoroughly and gasped. He has a light tan. His chest was muscular as ws his arms, but his hands looked soft as water.

When he heard me gasp he opened his eyes. He was beautiful. His eyes were a warm brown color reminding me of earth. His hair was a light brown with a tint of blonde.

"Who are you?" He asked standing up. He was taller than me. I had to glance up just to look at him.

"I'm Neela. Who are you?" I asked. If it was a dream what could go wrong.

"My name is Sam."He didn't say anything else. For a few long moments we just stared into each other's eyes. I finally broke the tension.

"So do you like it here?"I asked looking at our beautiful surroundings.

"Yes I do. It's the only place I can be content."He said but not looking away from me.

I walked over to the shore. I pulled my dress up to put my feet in the water while my hands played in the sand. He followed me.

"Well I don't mean to be bold but you are extremely beautiful."He said. I was startled and yet it made me happy to hear someone say that.

"I was just thinking that same thing about you."I said smiling at him. That's when the dream ended.

"Neela you ok?"Rikki asked bringing me back from last night. I forgot where I was for a second.

"Yeah I'm here."I gave him a sad smile wishing I could go back to last night.

"Well I was telling you that we have a new student here today. I heard he was so hot."He said mocking the other girls. He thought the same as I did.

"Yeah well he'll go great with the shallow wannabe Barbie dolls."I said laughing.

As if on cue the lunch room grew quiet. I looked up to where everyone was staring at. Even I couldn't hold back the gasp that escaped my lips. As if he knew I was there his eyes were glued to mine. He didn't hesitate when he walked over and sat in front of me. All I could do was stare with my mouth hanging open.
