Rain (one-shot)

I have a Lot of things I hate, first off The Rain, Assignments, Teachers, and Friends, but most of all I hate someone. "Randy!! , Lianne Is here!!" Called out Jerald. "umm... I forgot to bring my dictionary, may I borrow yours?" Lianne asked, "What? again?" I said with a bit of anger , "hehehe sorry" she laughed with her idiotic smile.

Lianne is a year younger than me. I hate her, I hate Lianne the most. she always depends on me, always me, When her rabbit died she ran to me and cried all day, when she hurted her arm she wanted me to fix it for her, when she's hungry she goes to me, but everything will end, this endless cycle will end soon, she's leaving and she will move to another place after a week. I'll be free.

"Youre always so mean to Lianne arent you? , you should be nice to girls or else you won't get a girlfriend" Jerald suggested. "I'm sick of her, be nice to her in my stead." I said , "why speak so Ill to her anyway she's very innocent and sweet, not to mention that angelic smile" Kai said while playing his psp as usual. "Randy! Lianne's here again!!" my classmate shouted. 

as she returned my dictionary it was covered in mud. "And--? what happened to my dictionary?" I asked "umm..--" she was looking down with shaking hands. "I fell..." she said."don't worry about it it's just a dictionary Lianne" Jerald said then he patted her head. and she turned red. "Whatever I'll go clean it up." I said trying to leave the place. "wait I'll come with y---" while she was trying to come with me she tripped. 

"she sprained her leg" The Clinic teacher said. "just how can a person trip in her own leg anyway." I asked sarcasticlly. "Im very sorry" Lianne apologized with her teary eyes. I sighed "go get your bag" I said. "Huh?" She asked in wonder. " I'll send you home." she hurried to get her bag. 

when I was escorting her home, we happened to pass by Jerald. "Whoa you guys are together? Halleluja! Well good luck Lianne!" then he left. then Lianne looked down with her red face. "Say, what do you like about that guy anyway? he's a player." I explained. "No, he's not. everyone is making fun of me but he's always greeting me whenever we meet." She said. 

Even so I still remember those times when she always cried at me saying that she couldnt confess. "Well you wont be able to confess again anyway." I said. "I will do it." I could feel my eyes widened as I heard her. "I will confess" She looked at me and smiled. 

after I got her home "Why are you so late today?" My mother asked. "I took Lianne to her house." I explained. "I see" she said. I remembered that tomorrow will be the day that Lianne would confess.. the truth is I knew-- 

As I was on my way to the classroom I heard someone laughing. "Who would have thought she would confess well I mean yeah she's cute but we barely even talked! " Jerald laughed. I got closer then he looked at me and said "Youre right Lianne is pretty stupid huh?" as he said those words I punched him. "What the hell man?!" Gerald shouted. "Take that back" I said. "Take what back? ". "Don't speak Ill of Lianne! ". 

The next thing I Knew was that we were called to the guidance office. when I was on my way home. I saw Lianne running towards me. "Wait!!" She shouted. "What do you want?" I asked. "I heard the rumours.. you had a fight right?! are you alright?!" She asked In panic. "Im fine" I answered. "Thank goodness... say did you had a fight with Jerald because of--". "Let's make things clear I had a fight with him but it sooo has nothing to do with you" I Interrupted. "Ahahaha" She laughed. "whats so funny?" I asked. "Because youre so kind" I was shocked as she said those words. 

I remembered then. when I was a fourth grader, I got a perfect score in all of my tests. and wanted to tell my parents about it, but when I got there they were fighting. and then they pushed me out of the house. it was raining that day I wanted to run away. but a little child kept following me. I always told her to stay away from me, but she still followed. hours after hours I still walked and she still followed I always looked behind my shoulders and saw her smiling with that Idiotic face. then she grabbed my hand and said "Let's go home together."  that child's name was... Lianne

I knew... I knew that It was me who wouldnt be able to live without that smile. I knew that I didnt want Lianne to go. I want her to stay by my side. 

a week passed and the time came for Lianne to go. "Thank you for seeing me off" She said with gratitude. "No I was just killing some time." I said. "My only regret of leaving this place is because Im leaving mom and you" Lianne said. "Lianne time to go! ". she looked at me then and said "Good-bye Big Brother". I smiled but even so I knew better than anyone, that I was tearing up.

and the only thing I could think of was.

Good-bye My dearly beloved little sister, grow up well.
