They were playing cards then Alexander came and told the four teens that he heard his older brother, Steven talking about a kid who went to pick apples and no one had seen him since, many people just believed he was dead so the police gave up looking. "I was under my bed searching for some money when i heard Steven talking on the phone about the kid who went missing a couple weeks ago"
" Was he talking to Ace?" Chris asked curiously.
"Yeah!" Alexander replied
"We heard the exact same conversation!" Melainie exclaimed excitedly.
You see Ace had all his friends and the teens hated them because Ace was Melainie and Chris's Older brother and Steven was Alexander's older brother. So then the three of them decided to make a plan to find Brock Lower, who went missing two weeks ago. Their plan was to tell their parents they were sleeping over at Owen's house (because he was closest to the train tracks they needed to walk on) then they were going to the horse races the next day.
