**I'm soo sorry guys, I dont have any excuses to give you.. im really reeally. My boyfriend and I have been having problems lateley and I'm traveling and junk so I will try to update as soon as possible until I get back into town.. ; Just vote and comment?**
-As soon as I reached for the handle, the door swung open and in walked the man I had feared the most.-
He slammed the door behind him and looked at me on the ground and laughed. I trembled then decided that if I were to die, i wouldnt want to have died like this. I hopped up and ran to the kitchen. Breanden grabbed my ankle and pulled me back to the ground and jumped on top of me. I tried to hit him but he sat on my hands and I was still struggling when the door burst open and Zacharias strolled in. As soon as he saw Branden, he immediatley dove to get him off. I rolled away and reached for the gun the Branden had dropped. I crawled for the phone and called the police.
Zacharias and Branden were rolling around with fists flying around everywhere. I didnt want to run the risk of shooting Zacharias so I thought it best to just wait. I kicked Branden in the face a couple of time before the police arrived. After the police had taken Branden away, Zacharias and I called Ginny. She drove home immediatley.
After that moment I shook anytime anyone touched me. I just sat in my room for a while until Zacharias asked me on another date. We went out to eat at Applebee's a week after that incident.
At Apllebee's Zacharias looked kind of worried and more vigilant than normal. I reached across the table for his hand.
"It's okay. They're both locked up." I whispered.
He looked at me as if he had just realized I was sitting there.
"Thats just it though," he said worriedly, "your dad got out earlier today. My mom just told me."
My eyes widened and I puilled my hand back. Now I was worried. He tried to calm me down by saying that it would be okay. but i knew it wasnt. Whenever my dad lost something he would fight to get it back no matter what.
After a while I started to relax. I didnt want to worry anymore. He probably didnt know where I was. I excused myself to go to the restroom. While I was in the restroom, I looked in the mirror. My face didnt look as sulken as before. I looked... human. i lifted up my shirt to expose my belly. My ribs were still showing from where my dad starved me, but my belly was getting bigger and this I was glad for.
I checked my phone and looked at a text I had recieved. It was from Zacharias. It Read:
"DONT COME OUT! YOUR FATHERS OUT HERE IF THERE IS A WINDOW CLIMB OUT!!"
I quickly did a full sweep of the bathroom and found that there was one lady in there.
"Stay in this stall with the door locked and put your feet up. DO NOT come out no matter what happens. If the police come, make thm show there badge.. Got it?" I asked.
She nodded looking terrified. I closed the stall door and texted Zacharias back. I typed:
"No window.. What now?"
The response shocked me. it said:
"Just come out and face me like the man you look like.
Love,
Your father"
I shuddered but decided to oblige. he already knew where I was what difference does it make. I slowly opened the door and observed my surroundings. I saw him behind Zacharias. Zachatrias looked terrified as well as the many faces I saw looking up at me from the ground. I wanted to turn and run back in the bathroom but I knew that meant the end of the life of the boy I loved.
Thats right, I love him. I looked to my right and saw a cart with dishes and utensils on it. I saw a sharp knife and decided that would be my escape plan. I trunde sideways and put my hands upa to show I had nothing on me. I kept waddling sideways and put my hands down once I reached the cart and I slowly put my arms down to my sides and reached for the knife.
I felt its handle in my clamy hands and I wrapped all of my fingers around it.
"What are you doing?" I heard a booming voice shout. My father noticed I was on to something.
