Catherine 'Cat' Warren: The main character of the series. She is always up for a laugh and loves to be with her friends. She dislikes being put down by others and can get angry easily.
Syd Thompson: Best friend of Catherine 'Cat' Warren though he is shown to have a crush on her, and he will do anything to protect her. He is a sweet guy but has mean fists.
Robert Sheriff: He is the bad boy of the street and often picks on Catherine 'Cat' Warren and Syd Thompson. He has a girlfriend named Justina Polo, and she is just as mean as he is. Robert can be quite the romantic, though is a tyrant. Robert also has a strange obsession with Cat.
Justina Polo: She is the bitchy girlfriend of Robert Sheriff and is always out to get what she wants. She gets jealous very easily, and like Robert, she is a little romantic.
Joan Thompson: She is the mother of Syd Thompson. She seems like a strong woman and very pleasant, but since the loss of her husband, she is still heartbroken.
Caroline Sheriff: She is the mother of Robert Sheriff. Unlike her son, she is sweet and very vulnerable. She is currently split from her husband, James Sheriff, but still shows feelings towards him.
James Sheriff: He is the father of Robert Sheriff. He is a nasty piece of work and always does what pleases him. Currently, him and his wife, Caroline Sheriff, are split, but he does not see that she still wants him.
Frank Rosen: He is the cheeky brother of Lorna Rosen and friend of Catherine 'Cat' Warren and Syd Thompson. He can be fun, but often gets into trouble.
Lorna Rosen: She is the sophisticated and sweet sister of Frank Rosen. She is very intelligent and when her brother gets into trouble, she lends him a hand. She is shown to have a big crush on John Fitzgerald.
John Fitzgerald: He has an anonymous family and doesn't say much about them. He is a kind hearted person and is always there for anyone in need. He has a crush on Lorna Rosen, yet doesn't say anything.
