Chapter 9

Who let the dogs out?

I landed on top of him and we rolled over. He was underneath me and I didn't waste my time. I bit down on his shoulder and tore out his right arm. I heard Carlisle in my head warning me to stop and the others asking me why I was so mad suddenly. But I didn't care. The only thing in my mind was that I need to rip his head off for talking of Bella like that. I was so focused that I didn't notice Leah running into me and knocking me off of Jacob.

As we landed I threw her off of me. I turned back and saw Jacob was running toward me probably planning to attack me while I was distracted.

Coward.

As he jumped up, he left his side unprotected so I charged for that. I bit out a big part of his torso as we landed. I saw Leah planning to knock me off again, but this time Jasper tackled her down. He immediately tore out her left arm. That's when I heard Carlisle command me in his alpha voice.

Edward! Stop right now! You aren't thinking clearly! Step back. Let your siblings handle this and we will talk about this later.

I unwillingly stepped back. I couldn't deny him when he ordered us like that. Jacob didn't have time to stand up straight, though, because Emmett and Rose attacked him. They tore out each limb and finally his head. He was dead.

I turned to Jasper who did pretty good job too. I saw Leah's body parts around him as he ripped her head off. She was dead.

I listened to my father's thoughts again. He was confused about why I lost my temper like that. He didn't understand why Jacob's words got to me so much. He was a little bit frustrated that we had to kill them and not just let them leave our land peacefully. The good old Carlisle, always trying to avoid violence, even with vampires, he wanted to make peace. I am not saying that I won't like a little calm but I couldn't help myself when I attacked the leech. Just when his words echoed in my mind I wanted to bring back him so I could kill him this time. I was a little bit angry that I couldn't kill him myself because he threatened-.

I stopped myself before I thought about her and the things that happened between us. Fortunately I remembered that the others would have heard me. I instantly focused on something else.

I listened to my siblings' thoughts. They didn't really seem to be angry with me. Rose thought that it was a good stress release and she always wanted to do this. Emmett was thinking about how good was to kick someone's ass. And Jasper was thinking about my actions like Carlisle. He was trying to figure out why did I tried to kill him and why didn't I listen to Carlisle when he talked to me without the alpha voice. Though, he was glad that the two vampires were out, bacause it meant minus two danger to Alice.

I looked around and saw the remained two vampires. James was eyeing me with a strange expression. It looked like he was plotting and trying to figure me out. And Victoria was monitoring every move we did.

Carlisle changed back so he could talk to them.
"I apologise for what happened. I hope our agreement is still up." He said.

"It's alright. Jacob should have known how to shut up." James said and he didn't sounded sad at all that he lost a friend.

"Then I would like it if you two would leave the state before midnight. Some of us would stay with you until then." James and Victoria nodded silently and started to go back into the woods

Carlisle motioned to Emmett, Rose and Jasper to follow them. It looked like he wanted to have a chat with me.

We watched as they disappeared into the woods.
