Chapter 5

It was dark and there was on the moon just stars. Trees were everywhere. I barely see a thing. Then, I feel something on my waist. I froze and did nothing as my fear took over. He whispered in my ear and said, "You will be mine, my little darling." Then he pulled me to his cage. I tried to get away with him. I screamed in fear. "Please let me go!" I cried. I scream for help. Louder. I woke up sweating bullets. Breathing heavily. Kameron came barging into my room. He must have heard me screaming. "AJ, are you okay? Did someone come in here?" He asked worriedly. "No I mean yeah I'm alright. I'm sorry if I woke you up, Kameron." "It's okay AJ. I had to keep an eye on you anyway." I smiled a little. "I'm going back to bed. Do you need anything?" "Ummm.. no I'm okay." When he was about to walk out the door, I somehow urge him to get his attention. "Wait Kameron." He turns around waiting for me to say what I need. "I can't sleep tonight. Maybe you can keep me company through the night." I feel embarrassed for saying that. I can't believe I said that. What was I thinking? "Ummm sure I won't mind." I widen my eyes not believing the words coming out of his mouth. He came to my bed and got into the covers. He wraps his arm around me. At that moment, I felt safe and warm. I didn't know what to do like my heart is different and my brain is confused. But in other words, I kinda like it. "Good night AJ." "Night Kameron," I said. In the morning I realized that Kameron wasn't here. I smell food cooking in the kitchen downstairs. I got dressed and went downstairs meeting Kameron making eggs. I see the rest of the food and it looks wow. "Morning Kameron." "Hey AJ, how's your sleep?" He asked. "It was good. So umm question I need to ask you." "Alright shoot." "Ummm well I want to know that how did you guys meet? The whole team I mean."

"Well, I and the group go way back in middle school. We believe we could do anything we put our minds to it. Then when we graduated school, we became this group trying to help people without knowing." "So you guys help people without them knowing." "Yeah seems like it." I laugh a little. "My little sis, Olivia is precious to me, she the only family I have plus the crew," he said. "Olivia? I thought you said she was dead." "I thought she was dead. Until I found her hands move. She was still alive and I was lucky to have her. If I lose her I will do anything to bring her back. I lost so many people AJ." I look at him seeing his true colors. I heard Olivia coming downstairs with a bright smile. "Hey, Kame Bear!" "Hey Olivia, How's my Lil cub." "I'm good, And- OH MY GLOB BACON PANCAKES!" She screams. "She's happy and nice but in the field, she's a nightmare." "Huh, I don't see it." I just don't really see her as a nightmare. "Oh I forgot something upstairs, I'll be right back. Oh hi-i Tomas". I guess she got feelings for Tomas. "Hey guys." Me and Kameron greeted him back. I heard noises upstairs. "I guess she can't find it." "I'll go check on her," Tomas said. "So I heard Jared was trying to flirt with you huh," he smirked. "Oh yeah. He's a charmer but not really." "Yeah he's a lady's man. Hey maybe you can-" "Kameron!" Tomas and the rest of the crew came downstairs. "Kameron it's Olivia, she's gone," Bullet said out of air. Kameron was surprised and blank out. "Kameron?" The room was silent waiting for him to move or even say anything. He ran upstairs along with me and the rest of the crew. The room was trash and destroy. The only thing was the bracelet and a note. Kameron picks the two items and reads the note.

"Dear AJ,

I have your friend here with me. The clock is ticking my dear. So why not take his sister which I thought I killed. I guess I didn't do a good job. But that doesn't mean I can do it again but who knows. Anyway, I would like to pay a visit to my good ol' friend, Kameron. Don't really Kame I will take good care of her.

That doesn't sound good at all. He looks at the bracelet and slid on his wrist. He looks so mad and scared. Olivia got kidnapped by my father. We didn't know what to do. "Kameron I-" "Leave me alone." "Dude, I'm sorry-" "I said LEAVE ME ALONE!". The crew left him alone but I stand with him. "She's gone and I let her slip out of my hand." "Kameron, I know it's hard but we can get her back and my mom is out there with that psycho and I need you to do this or you're not going to see her again." He looks at me then back at the bracelet. I walk downstairs with the rest of the crew. "I never saw Kameron like this," Sam said. "It's a long story. My father killed his dad and his sister, Olivia," I said. "Yeah, his adopted sister," Ronya said. Everyone including me faces the stairs, Kameron walking downstairs. "Guys, this Martin guy is cross the line and I'm sick of it. We're getting that son of bitch and get Aj's mother and Olivia back!" Everyone was yelling from that speech. I hope this plan work and makes sure Martin stays dead.
