I stood in my walk-in closet frantically grabbing items off of hangers and tossing them onto the ground when I wasn't satisfied with that specific piece. I sighed loudly and sat on the ground, holding my knees to my chest, too frusturated to go on. My younger sister ,who was sat on my bed, rolled her blue eyes with clear annoyance. "It's just a stupid boyband. It's not like Niall is going to fall for you anyway. They're forced to hang out with you and your stupid friends for the day. Duh." My sister was cleary just jealous.
The event she was stating her resentment toward, and what was causing me so much anxiety in choosing just the right outfit for, was The Grand Prize, as I liked to refer it as. Allow me to explain. A few months ago, myself along with my fellow directioner friends, entered a contest announced on the 1DHQ twitter page. The contest was simple. Tweet the account a video of why you and four friends should get to go on a "date" with your favorite member. None of us thought they would actually choose our entry, but they did.
My friends and I were ecstatic. The dates were tomorrow. Modest! Management contacted us, and a limo would pick my friends and I up from my house tomorrow morning, and take us to the boys, a few hours away in LA. My friends would be arriving anytime. We decided it would be best if everyone slept over at my house so we could get ready together.
I heard a knock at the door. I opened it up too see one of my best friends, Sara, at the door. Sara was the Louis girl of the group. We have been friends since the 7th grade. "Hi Sara! You're the first one here, as usual!" I declared, hugging my friend. Sarah was slightly taller than me, roughly 5'6. She was the most slender out of the friends that would be joining us on the trip. She had long blonde hair that was slightly wavy, and big green eyes. We chatted about how excited we were for the trip, and then we heard another knock on the door.
It was Whitney. We had been on and off friends since freshman year. We didn't always get along, I mentally assigned her as a "frenemy", but alas, we bonded over our love of the boys recently, and our friendship has been going strong ever since. Whitney was the same height as me, about 5'4. She had an athletic build, she was quite sporty. She had shoulder length hair, and it was a light honey color. Not as blonde as Sara's, but not exactly brunette. She had blue eyes and was a proclaimed Liam girl. Sara and Whit went to go hang out in my room while i wated for the rest of my friends to arrive.
I heard Kandy's car approach my house. She had a beat up pick up truck you could hear from a mile away. It perfectly matched her personality. She may be the shortest of the group, but she was big and loud in personality. She could always make me laugh, and she had this booming voice that drew attention. Kandy was a lot of fun and we have been friends since kindergarden. I escorted the petite 5'2 red head with hazel eyes into the house. Kandy was a Harry girl.
At last, the final friend arrived. Her name was Natalie. We have been friends since the 8th grade. She was the quietest out of the group, and very sweet and nurturing. Natalie had long light brown hair and big brown eyes. She was tall, about 5'8, and had soft curves. She was the Zayn girl of our group.
Now I suppose you all are wondering about me. Well, I'm Ally for starters. I'm average height and build. I have long dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. And I have been in love with Niall Horan since I first layed eyes on him. Tomorrow my dreams are coming true. I am going to meet Niall, and I'll be keeping this journal with me to document my adventure. Maybe tomorrow everything will change...
