"From The Get-Go I Knew This Was Hard To Hold!"

Bellamy's P.O.V

After punching Murphy several times, I looked at him with a confused expression on my face. Why wasn't he fighting back? Murphy always fought back. I glared at him as he looked down at the ground before back up at me. Straight away he must have seen my face and known what I was thinking. I could tell from his reply.
"I don't want to fight you, Bellamy. I'm tired of fighting you." Was what he said. I stayed silent, not knowing how to reply. Is he giving up? Surely not. John Murphy never gives up!
"You're giving up?" I spat, gulping back my words even though it was too late. They were out there now and it was clear he heard them from the shrug he gave.
"I don't want you to hate me any more." Murphy said quietly.
"What do you want?" I asked.
"For us to be friends. You know, like we used to be!"
"You were never a friend to me!" I mumbled under my breath, hoping he wouldn't hear. Great. He let out a sigh. He did hear!
"Then perhaps it's time we moved on." He replied, an unsure look on his face. I just let out a sigh. Did I really want to be his friend? "Perhaps not as friends..." He trailed off. Could he read my mind?

He looked up at me. I looked into his eyes. I watched how the shone in the light. The bright blue appearing even brighter in the sun. As the got bigger and bigger. As he got nearer and nearer. His face just inches from from mine. His lips now touching mine.
I kissed back for a second before realising what I was doing. Without another moments hesitation, I pushed him away. He looked at me, smirking, clearly pleased with himself. Although, the crimson colour on his cheeks told a different story. He was embarrassed.
"What the hell was that for?" I spat, looking around to make sure nobody saw.
"Sorry. And don't worry, I was hardly going to do it in front of everyone..." He replied. "But I do think Octavia saw!" He smirked. I glared at him as he laughed, clearly just joking with me. I pushed him back gently, in a somewhat playful manner. However, it wasn't as gentle as I thought. I watched as his chair toppled backwards and he fell on his back.
"Shit!" I bit my lip. "I'm sorry!" I stood up to help him and found him in a fit of laughter on the floor. He held his hand out and I grabbed it to help him up. Only when I was on top of him was when I realised he didn't want to get up.
"That did not go to plan! You were not supposed to fall on top of me!" Murphy laughed. "But hey, I'm not complaining!" He grinned. I slapped him slightly before rolling off of him, to lay beside him. "So I guess this means we're good?" He asked. I nodded.
"As long as you don't kiss me again!" I said.
"Can I hug you?" He asked playfully and I shook my head. Murphy just smirked, resting his head on my shoulder. I was too lazy to push him off. And to be honest, I didn't mind having him there.
