POV Sakura
I was left alone on a glade in the midst of dense pine woods. The bluish sky was barely seen from the heads of enormous pines surrounding me. Damn, the weather here is completely bipolar, either sunshine paradise or feet-knocking storm. Should be forecast ever believed after that..!
Hmm, interesting, where's the rest? At least, Naruto... He'd be the first to realise someone in the squad is missing and run for help. Though he'd almost always mess everything up. And his screams would be heard from a mile. There'd be no forest but only crushed tress...
Yet I admit that Naruto-kun is good at getting what he wants, no matter how. Most of the time. And now he even manages all the affairs in the village as a new Hokage, surprisingly well. I chuckle. Even now that we've grown up, some of his traits remained the same, annoying to hell and not. Still, his liveliness, yet complete devotion to what he wants to achieve and sincerity (which most powerfully of all brings back everyone to their senses at the right time) are the reason why I adore Naruto so much and value him as a friend and companion.
*ahem*
...I am completely alone here, for real. And I hear neither any noise nor shrieks. Dang.
I started looking around but effortlessly - no sign of living creature passing by. Not even a small village! Well, let's think of a plan then.. It'd be much easier if Shika was here.
– I have no choice...
At that exact moment I felt someone's presence. Someone finally come to help?!
Naive girl, naive girl... A bird flew above my head making a noise with its wings and once more everything immersed into deafening silence.– Long time, no see.
Eh? It's not my imagination, is it? I turned to the direction voice was coming from.
To be continued...
