"No, she's still asleep- Yes, yes okay." A deep voice mumbled.
My head felt groggy as I attempted to open my eyes, quickly figuring out they were covered with some sort of cloth. Thick ropes tied my hands together behind a chair I was sitting down on. But my mouth wasn't covered with anything, giving me access to say anything I would please, if I could actually bring myself to do so. Slowly, reality hit me as memories from last night flushed into my memory. I heard rustling from across the room, followed by the same slow echo of the boots I heard last night coming towards me. My body froze as my heart started pounding out of my chest.
"Love, I know you're awake." He said, pulling the cloth away from my eyes. Now I could see the young invader in full view. He was quite handsome, I must say, but he's a horrible man in my eyes from doing such a thing last night.
"I thought we already went over this whole staring thing." He said with a smile creeping onto his face.
"Just wanted to take a good look at my kidnapper, don't flatter yourself." I blurted out, trying to play it cool.
A loud chuckle emerged from the young man's chest, before he crouched down to my level. His hand quickly stretched toward my face like he was going to smack me, as I flinched out of fear. Instead he pulled a strand of hair out of my face, tucking it behind my ear.
"Feisty, aren't you." He chuckled once again, shifting his hand under my chin.
I swiftly turned my chin out of his grip. "Don't touch me, and why am I here?"
He slowly stood up, sighing. "Sadly that's information I can't bare to give you right now, florence."
My brows clenched together in confusion. How did he know my name? Well he was lounging in your home without you knowing, Florence. Okay yes, I know that but it's still odd.
"How do you know my name?" My voice spoke out, cracking at the end of the sentence.
"I know more than just your name, sweetheart." He smiled, before licking his lips.
This is all too confusing. What does he mean by all this? The thought of someone I've never met before, knowing so much about me gives me an odd feeling in the pit of my stomach. Does this man think this is funny, is this a game to him to hold someone hostage? Questions and questions ran wild through my mind, being withheld the satisfaction of being answered.
"And I'm guessing you won't tell me how you know." I spoke up once more, diverting my eyes to the old wooden floor. My body started shaking, knowing I don't have anyone to rely on to get me out of this room and far away from this man. This feeling made me feel sick to my stomach.
"Well wouldn't that just get rid of the fun of you not knowing anything?" He said, a crook in his lips dipping up into a smirk.
I roll my eyes, already done with everything to come for me in the future days of my life. A low growl was heard from the young man, as my eyes snapped up from the floor. His green forest eyes turned to a much darker color, blazing into mine like wildfire. He looked so different now, resembling a monster like figure. He quickly took my jaw in one swift movement, tilting it up aggressively so I could have a good look at his face.
"Darling, you better be careful with all the disrespect you give me. I don't think you'll like me when I'm angry." He growled once more, teeth almost grinding together.
I didn't even like you before when you weren't angry so, I thought to myself, but held my tongue. My chin began to hurt from the pressure he was in forcing on my bone, resulting in a quiet whimper escaping from my lips. In the slightest second I saw sorrow in the man's eyes, but vanished immediately when he ripped his hand off of me.
"You'll be here for awhile, might as well get comfortable." He laughed, walking over to the entrance of the room.
"C-can I at least get untied?" I stuttered, scared to even ask without looking into his eyes.
"Anything for the princess." The man replied, moving his hand to his pocket to pull out a knife.
My eyes were diverted toward the knife as my body jumped out of fear. From the small laugh the man made, he must have noticed how afraid I was with a weapon now visible. Walking behind me, he began cutting the ropes. After the rope was cut, he tilts the knife edge to touch the lower back of my skin, obviously trying to get me even more terrified then before, which he succeeded in perfectly. Standing back up, he reaches the door, but suddenly turns his attention back to me.
"I almost forgot, my name's Harry. It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Florence." He devilishly smiles, before closing the door behind him and locking it from outside. Finally leaving me alone and flustered.
