I lay on one of the recliners and watched as Damon chased our children round the garden. Cyra Katerina Smith and Kai Calix Smith were born two years ago last week. "Mommy!! Come play!!" Cyra was shouting for me to come play. "Daddy's playing Cyra" Cyra put on a pet lip an gave me puppy dog eyes. "Oh okay. I'll come play"

"Yay!" Cyra jumped up and down and clapped her hands with glee her brown curls bouncing up and down as she did. Her blue eyes shining in the sun. I ran up to her. "Okay Cyra what are we playing?" I felt Damon's gaze on me. I was in my bikini. "Tig. We have to get daddy and Kai" I looked across to where Damon and Kai were stood. I lent in closer to Cyra whispered in her ear "You get Kai and I'll get daddy" she nodded her head and shot off after Kai. I looked at Damon and with a mischievous smile on my face. "Oh no. That's cheating. No powers."

"Aww hunny I'm not gonna use my witch powers on you" I ran up to him and he shot off in the other direction. I heard Cyra and Kai laughing behind us. "Got you Kai!" i heard Cyra shout. I stopped running and turned to look at them for a second. They were sat on the grass watching me. "Mommy! Watch out!" before i could blink i was on the floor with Damon above me. "Gotcha!" he bent down to kiss my cheek. "Ewww not in front of the children please" a mans voice said

We looked over to the porch where Jordan and Jake were stood looking at us. Jordan had hold of her daughter Katie's hand. Katie Anna Smith was born a week before the twins. "Aunt Elena!" she shouted. I got up off the floor and she ran over to me and jumped into my arms. "Hey Katie Tatie. Hows my favourite niece?" she giggled.

"I'm your only niece silly" she booped my nose.

"Exactly. That's why you're my favourite" she flung her arms round my neck again and hugged me. I hugged her back. "Awww Katie don't i get a hug?" she looked at Damon who had a pet lip on.

"Uncle Damon!" she yelled right in my ear.

"Oww Katie that was right in my ear." i said as i put her down.

"Sorry aunt Elena" I ruffled her hair and walked up to where Jordan was stood with Jake, Cyra and Kai. "Hey guys" I said. I hugged Jordan and then Jake. 

"When's everyone else getting here?" Jordan asked me.

"Matt and Molly will be here in about five and Lindsay and Luke should be here in about half an hour" they nodded. "Why don't you guys have a seat and ill go get some drinks and get changed" they smiled at me and walked to the chairs in the middle of the garden. "Cyra, Kai. Go with aunt Jordan and uncle Jake." they followed my instructions and went to sit with Jordan and Jake.

I walked upstairs and put a dark purple summer dress that cut off at the knees over my bikini. I walked back downstairs and into the kitchen. I could hear the music from the garden in here. Paramore - 'Still into you' was blaring. Luckily there were no neighbours around for miles so we could have the music quite loud. I got everyone a drink. I walked back into the garden and put the tray of drinks on the table. "Lemonade for the kids, beers for the guys and us girls are having vodka and coke" everyone grabbed a drink and there were still four left for the others when they arrived.

1 Hour Later

Me, Molly, Jordan and Lindsay were dancing to Olly Murs -  'Please don't let me go' while the boys were talking and the kids were playing. We were dancing and giggling. We were a little tipsy from the drinks.  When the song stopped so did we, but Lindsay froze, she had a far off look in her eyes. We all knew what that meant. She was having a premonition. She snapped out of the trance a couple minutes later. "Oh my God"

"Lindsay what's wrong?" I put my hands on her shoulders and looked her in the eyes.

"Elena. Something terrible is going to happen"

"What do you mean Linds?"

"A demon. Its after...." she paused.

"Lindsay who is it after?" i was panicking now. I hadn't been this scared since the incident with Marcus two years ago.

"Cyra and Kai. It's after Cyra and Kai. You have a year before it comes"

A year? A year and my children would be taken from me by a demon. No. I will not let that happen. Even if it means running and hiding forever. We need help. I've heard of a family of hunters in the next town. We will need their help if we are going to kill that demon. Time to pay them a visit.
