The End of the Beginning

Emma POV

I stand there watching the darkness wrap around Regina.

"What's it doing!?" Robin screams,

"What darkness does. It's snuffing out the light." I respond with fear in my voice.

"No I'm going to let it!" He says as he runs to Regina only to be pushed back right were he started.

"That's not going to work with this thing!" I say practically yelling through the wind,
"The Apprentice told me what the Sorcerer did! We have to tether it to a person to contain it! I say running to front of the darkness.

"EMMA!" My mother screams,

"NO!" Regina screams... There has to be another way!" As she gaps for air,

"There isn't." As I stand just inches away.
"You're worked to hard to have your happiness destroyed." I scream.

"NO!" My father screams.

"You figured out how to take the darkness out of me once. I need you to do it again... as Heroes." I say as my eyes start to fill with tears.

"EMMA! EMMA, please! NO, don't do this." Killian says begging me.

"I love you." I say putting our heads together for what seems like the last time.

"NO!" He screams for the last time.

But before our eyes the darkness ceases to exist.

"What happened?" My mother asks,

"I don't know." I say confused.

Killian runs up to my hugs me, and kisses me. "What were you thinking?" He says pulling out of the kiss.

"Trying to save you." I say as I smile and look into his eyes.
"Let's go home." I say holding his hand, and pulling him into the direction of the apartment.

He catches up to me. I grab his arm and lean my head on his shoulder.

"I love you to." He says as he kisses my head.
