"You sure you're gonna be okay?" Tommy asked. He stood with Melissa, Doug and Allan outside the hotel. We had just spent the last day together. They'd be traveling on to a new hotel and spend 3 days at Epcot.
Me? I was ready to try out for casting that day. Bryan would pick me up (not while wearing his costume though) and go with me to the tryouts.
"I'll be fine, you should get going though, Epcot isn't gonna wait forever." I said and tried not to cry. It wasn't a goodbye, but it was the first time I'd ever take another path than my brother's.
Melissa then jumped in my arms. She gave me a long hug which I returned.
"I'm gonna miss you so much." she said and wimped.
"Hey, it's not sure that I'm gonna get the job anyway." I said and stroked her long, silky, blond hair.
"Of course you are. You're a great actress, you can fake an accent and you look just like Jane." she responded. I sighed. I really hoped she was right.
We split from our hug. And we were close to crying.
"Remember to call us right after you get the job, okay?" Doug said and put an arm around Melissa. I smiled and nodded. I then looked over to Allan, who stood by himself. I walked over to him and gave him a hug.
"I'm so happy that everything worked out," I said and hugged him tight.
"Yeah, me too." he responded. We split and smiled to each other. Then a bus came. The bus that were supposed to transport the others to Epcot. We all took a deep breath. The chauffeur came out and helped Tommy with their luggage.
They then one by one, stepped inside the bus, until it was only Tommy left. He gave me one last hugged and kissed my forehead.
"You're growing up so fast." he said and laughed. I hugged him back and refused to cry. I hated crying.
"Shut up, you're only 2 minutes older than me." I said. I wasn't sure he heard me since my face was buried in his shirt.
We split from the hug and he caressed my cheek. He then slowly turned around and went inside the bus.
I heard him yell "I love you!" from the bus and I yelled "I love you too!" back. I then watched the colorful bus drive away and out of the Magic Kingdom Park. I took a deep breath, found my iPhone from my pocket and called Bryan.
"Hey, where are you?" he said.
"I'm outside the hotel. Just said farewell to all my friends." I said and sighed.
"I'll be right over, we should leave soon." he said. I ended the call and looked at the time. It was exactly 7am. The casting started at 11am. I'd get my number and team that I was casting with.
I waited for about 8 minutes. Bryan came in a pair of blue shorts, a white tank top and a varsity jacket. He looked really good for a "morning" look. I myself, had just applied yoga pants, a loose top and my Nike Free. I was going for the more relaxed look.
"There you are." he said, hugged me and kissed my forehead. I felt butterflies in my tummy.
"Here I am," I said and giggled. "When are we leaving?" I asked. Bryan looked at his watch.
"Uh. Now, actually. You got everything?" he then asked. I nodded. He took my hand and we walked over to his car that was parked on the workers parking lot outside Magic Kingdom Park. It was a cute little silver Toyota.
"It's my friend Adam's car. I'm borrowing it until he comes back from his trip to Thailand. I'm saving up for my own." he said and opened the car door for me.
