Notice how when a new boy comes to school girls flock him like a moth to a flame? yes, you do, don't lie. I lingered in the hallway that reeked of cliché's, back pressed against the cool metal of the chap school lockers. Thank god there was only another year before I could leave all these stereotypes behind and go to college. Just the thought of college almost distracted me from the news that was being yelled everywhere and spread like a wild fire. How could I forget? But while I am distracted, my name is Emily Winters. How original. I'm in 11th grade, with all A's, and frankly, I'm a loner. I could have friends, yes, but I prefer not. They would distract me from my studies.I do have a social life...just over tumblr. My Soul is literally sold to tumblr, k-pop to be specific. Super Junior all the way man.

The sound of a girl gasping and having a fan girl session in the far end of the hallway wrenched me from my daydreaming. I threw a quizzical look in her direction, but noticed a couple others were doing the same. Really starting to question why I still attend this school.

I leaned forward off the locker and glanced down the hallway, and blinked. Oh, it was just him.

They all him Chase, when his real name is William van winkle. I guess he sort of runs the school.. yeah, I know, cliché. But all schools have those couple of boys who have girls, especially the younger ones, falling at their feet. It's stupid, but that's how middle and high school run apparently. He had brown hair, at least at the roots. The idiot dyed it blond for some unknown reason. It looked like shit on him. Blue eyes and built body, thought he was better than everyone else and curses in every sentence. Douche to some it all up. I rolled my eyes as he walked by like he just met the president.

I scrunched up my nose. Did he just dump the whole bottle of AXE all over him or something? I examined the sideways glances girls gave him. They are so whipped. The bell rung, signaling all the students to go to class. I sighed and stayed for a little longer. I had a free period first period, finishing the work the class before. I slowly pushed myself off the lockers once the hallway was empty. I lazily trudged down the corridor, picking up the trash the children mindlessly dropped. These students, I swear. I scrunched up my nose again, not in disgust, but surprise and confusion. A new smell had replaced 'Chase's' smell, a more pleasant smell. It was less strong so I could actually breathe. I glanced around and my eyes landed on a figure standing not to far behind me, his back to me. Has he always been there? I took a big whiff of the smell and sighed, I don't know what was so pleasant about it, but it relaxed me. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it smelled familiar. How calming it was scared me.

I started to walk towards the figure. Hadn't he know class started? I hesitantly reached out my hand, about to tap his shoulder. The boy then whirled around and made direct eye contact with me. To say he was attractive was an understatement. He was extremely attractive, for a high school student. I took notice of his eyes and nose, but what rally caught my attention was his lips. I'm not creepy but, I'd be lying to say they didn't look the least bit inviting. He had really nice brown hair swept to the side. He stared at me as I stared at him. An awkward silence fell among us as I tried to think of what I was going to say again. I let the first words that came to mind leak out.

"I'm Emily winters"

I held out my hand confidently. He smiled and took it.

" I'm Jonghyun, but you call me jjong." He said in a Korean accent.

"I speak fluent Korean, nice to meet you jonghyun Oppa"

I stated in Korean, bowing. He blushed and shook his head.

"You don't have to use formal language!"

He exclaimed, slightly embarrassed, waving his hands frantically. I stood back up and nodded.

"do you need help getting to your first class jjong?"

I asked, flashing him my white teeth. He nodded and thanked me. I guided him along the  dark hallways and to his first class, according to his schedule.

"This is Mrs. Sanders class, she's really nice so...have a nice class."

I say reassuringly. We stand there staring at each other for a moment. Then jonghyun smiles, and nervously yanks the doorknob, throwing the door open. I rolled my yes, way to make an entrance. I made sure he was safely in the class before turning on my heel and walking away.

Walking around the school I found the library and sat in between the shelves, picking out the thickest book I could find.I flipped open the first page and sniffed. I smiled.

I remembered what the smell was now.
