Piper's POV

I woke up to be greeted with a bright light shining on me. I blinked my eyes a few times to get used to the sudden difference in brightness.

It was a few months after the 2nd Giant War. Everyone was happy and enjoying themselves. Except on person. Me.

Don't get me wrong. I love the fact that I don't have to wake up and start fighting. The fact is it has nothing to do with being a demigod. Its to do with Jason.

I really do love him. He is handsome, sweet and amazing. But sometimes he is stiff. He doesn't know how to be romantic. I don't blame him. The Roman lifestyle doesn't allow any place for a proper social life. But sometimes I wish he would try. Look and Annabeth and Percy. They both are complete opposites but still so in love. Percy is so romantic and shows his love for Annabeth in the smallest gesture he makes.

I am a daughter of Aphrodite. I know what a perfect and romantic relationship is like. At least I have an idea. But mine and Jason's relationship is nowhere close to perfect. So I am going to go ahead and take an action I think is best for me.

I'm going to break up with Jason Grace.
