run you clever boy...and remember (newt x reader part 2)

It had been a week since you had first arrived at the glade. You knew a lot more people and had already edged of and made some main friends. Thomas and minho to be presist but...newt in particular. Anyways it was around midnight and you lay flat on your back,restlessly. You looked around you before slowly dropping your legs of the side of your cot and gingerly leaving not waking anyone up. It was almost completely silent as you walked about alone...well that was until you heard a bang coming from newts room. You stopped outside and stood concerned before newt came tumbling out. He was sweating like a pig.
"Newt...you okay?" You asked looking over at him. Newt leaned against the wall. His forehead in his palms and fear forefilled in his eyes. "Yea...yea...fine" he stuttered almost sounding like he was trying to convince himself.
"Well...if you ever need me" you said shrugging as you turned but before you could walk away newt grabbed your arm and looked over at you.
"Uh...you wouldnt mind spending the night...would you?" He asked still shaking from what you were guessing was a nightmare.
"No,not at all" you said as he wiped his brow and forced a smile. "Thanks (y/n)..." he said as he got in the bed and hugged you like a teddy.

--next morning--

You rubbed your eyes yawning and digging your face into your pillow as you heard giggles and whispers coming from the archway. "Uhhh" you moaned as you opened your eyes to see your two best friends (thomas and minho) stood at the archway laughing. Minho cat whistled and winked over at you and newt. You sat up and looked over at minho evily. "What...?" You asked completley reluctant to the fact that you were asleep in newts bed. A few minutes later you realised and blushed slightly. "Oh uh...newt had a bad dream..." you said scratching the back of your neck as you nose frame painted light pink...
