The Past in Red.(a red hood fanfic)

Chapter 3

Angel took a deep breath and started over as Jasons strong steady hands fixed the cut on her head.

"So it all started when I was late to work...Again. Because of Johnny Gars my boyfriend at the time."

Angel woke up next to Johnny. She started to get up but Johnny woke up and pulled her close.

"You weren't going to leave me right?" He said his morning voice gruff and kinda attractive.

"Well you know I have work and being late 9 times in a month is not good." Angel said looking into his hazel eyes.

"But I want you now." He said " And you know how I get when I don't get what I want, when I want it." Johnny said as anger swelled in his eyes.

"I-I know but-but please I need to go in today i-I can't afford to lose another day." Angel pleaded trying to get off him and dressed but instead Johnny harshly grabbed her arm making her since and grumbled

"I want to f*ck you now and you know what happens when your boyfriend isn't happy." With this he slapped her cruelly across the face." Now...What was I saying? Oh yes about f*cking you.."

Jason stared at her in bewilderment.

" So you lost you job?"

"So I lost my job. But then things got worse for me. Johnny even tried to sell my services to gang members and other very bad people. When i told him I was sick of him and he was an absolute basterd that's when he grabbed my hair and swung me into a glass table. Hence the head wound and I have cuts on my back along with bruises the size of a grown man's hand up and down my body." Angel said sighing as tears swelled in her pale green eyes.

Jason just stared. "Umm...you could stay here." Jason said then mentally slapped himself damn it! What was he thinking! He was freaking Red Hood!

" Oh thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I mean...i don't want to push myself into your life." Angel said politely.

" Oh its no problem." Jason replied the slapped himself again. How could he fall for a pair of sad pale green eyes, long curly black hair, perfect completion, thin pink lips curved in a slight sweet smile, perfect curves and slim hips? Especially after he had vowed not to let a girl into his life for more than a night? Not after what had happened to Nikki." I'll show you the shower then I need to get to work." Jason said smiling

" Thank you. But ill just be here for a couple of days while I find a new job and apartment." Angel said sweetly as she went into the bathroom and closed and locked the door.
