11. Tied to this place.

Rose POV.

Everything was done and people started too mingle and socialising with one another. Pack members welcomed the new as i stood too the side alone.

I saw Mason wayding through the crowd with a girl in tow.

"Rose, i want you too meet Meredith. Mere this is a old friend, Rose." He said. I shook her hand smiling saying "Hi. "  but it faltered as her grip tightened.  I clenched my jaw at the pressure she was using, my palm wasn't fully healed yet.

"Nice too meet you Meredith.  Are you his mate?" I asked piecing two and two together. She glared at me and nodded. "Yes, he is." Mason looked a little confused at us. I pulled her a little closer tightening my own grip regardless off the pain. "Understood." I whispered too her. "Good." She whispered back.

When we lett go of one another and i couldn't help but giggle at the prossiveness she showed.  Meredith looked at me and caught on too the giggle and we stood there like two giggling school girls.  Mason looked at us asif we were crazy. 

When we sobered up Meredith tilted her head too the side. "You smell like Alpha Belikov?" She stated in the form off a question. This brought Mason back as well. "Yeah, what did you mean by your his and staying at his house."

I froze. I didn't know if i was allowed too tell them that he's my mate. "It's a long story. But the short version is that I'm under his protection. I am the first human this pack has alowed sins some time." i added that last part to cover up any quiestions.  

Suddenly a large hand was on my shoulder and saw the Beta stand behind me, i looked startled and he let go immediatly. "Can i have a word." he stated darkly. i nodded and whent with him as we entred the pack house. We whent down a corridor that i haven't been in before. 

"I'm Ivan. by the way." He said when we rounded the corner. "I'm Rose." I awnserd. "I know." he responded with a smirk. Off course he knew, mentally face palming myself.

He oppened a door into a office letting me step in first. Alpha Belikov sat behind a mahogany desk working on something on his laptop. Ivan stayed outside closing the door behind me. 

i waited patiently as he was typing away. "Lets get one thing clear. You live at my house because it's better that way." He said i a monitome voice. I nodded. "Because we're mates?" i asked. as he kept ignoring my typing on his computer.

"I'm a powerfull Alpha, and a human mate won't do me any good. I never wanted a mate. Imagine my dissapointment when i found out it was you." Disgust laced his accented words dripping with venom. what is wrong with this man. His wolf cuddles up too me but the man is cold. 

"Then why am i in your pack. Why not let me leave?" i asked feeling anger in the pit of my stomach as i hissed out the words. "Because my wolf needs, you, too stay strong. You'll have too life with it, you can't leave now." He paused. "Ivan will take you back too my house." and he wove his hand in dismissal. I turned around shell-shocked and walked with Ivan.

"Is he bipolar?" i suddenly asked as we stepped out off the pack house as the shock haze was lifted.

Ivan chuckled and shook his head. "Alpha Belikov had a difficalt childhood. He's really a nice guy." 

I shook my head in disbelieve.  i changed my clothes when i got back into my ussual jeans and tanktop. The bag from Viktoria was loaded with them. I plopped on the living room couch while sipping my tea. i was thinking things trough. He doesnt whant a mate yet he wants me too live in his house. He dispices humans yet he lets me join the pack, which only binds me too this place even more. i could imagine that if i ran they would track me down, in fear off exposing them too the world and put me back in the cell or worse they could kill me.
