DING!!!

Another random customer walked through the door of the small town Williamsville Library right as I was on the first page of what was supposed to be an wickedly awesome battle. Our little library was made up of serveral rooms. First there was the main room which held most of the books and my desk which was a long chuck of wood. My desk held a really old computer, library supplies, and books that needed to be put back on the shelves. I also had space behind me where the most temperamental fax machine lived.  All around the main room where four foot shelves. In the middle where four more four foot shelves that were parallel to the edge shelves. And finally there were two six foot shelves near the back of the main room.  From the main room was a small hallway which had the storage room and the bathroom and ended in the back room. The back room held several six foot shelves that went around the entire little room. These shelves held all the bibliographies and really old history books.

I looked up over my action book to the very small selves of books. Mom with two kids. Great they will spend about five hours arguing over which book they want. One will say they want this one and the other will say no no no I want this one. Mom will lose her patience with both and leave without checking out a single book. I sighed to myself, why can't moms just figure out they can get more than one book at a time. As usual I was right and the group left without any books. But not before the mom shot me a dirty look when she thought I was wasn't looking. Again typical. If you have ever lived in a small town you will know that rumors travel really fast. The rumors about me never changed. Everyone believed I was nothing more than snot-nosed little brat with a bad attitude and who worn too much black. Well if you believe those rumors I know a really good place where you can stick your uppity little attitude and head. I didn't care what people thought of me. I was pretty normal 17 year old, well if you thought a bookworm was normal. I had shoulder length black-violet hair and was never seen without some form of black clothing. Today I was wearing one of my many Gir shirts, my favorite black and purple plaid skirt, and my customized made neon green and black Gir high tops. I enjoyed my outfits and if some people couldn't handle that. Well that was their problem. I returned to my action battle. Oooooooooooooooooooooooo this was gonna be good I just knew it. Right as I was getting comfy in a soft plushy arm chair someone entered.

DING!!!

GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! I looked up again and saw Brain the deliver boy. Brain was the captain team and the most popular guy in my school. All of the cheerleaders would describe him as the hottest guy that like ever lived. All I saw when I looked at him was a pigheaded full of himself jerk. He also had a huge crush on me and never got the hint that I was and will never will be interested in him. I painfully had to play polite because he just happened to be my boss's son.

"Hey Brain whats up." I called out to him with so much forced friendliness it could have choked a smurf. He looked up from the the back of the main room and got a huge cheesy smile on his face. He puffed out his chest and brought a box of books to my desk.

"Not much Evza," he leaned on the desk, "just got my check for this month." Eww this guy smelled like a tub full of cheap cologne and pity. So much pity it was almost sad.

"Oh cool." I don't care Brain just leave, I willed. I grabbed for the box of books and Brain grabbed my arm.

"I was thinking I would take you out for dinner and movie among other things." He got this really weird creeper smile on his face. Dear sweet lord somebody kill me now.

"I'm so sorry Brain I would love to but I got a WHOLE bunch of work I have to do for school next year." Please buy it Brain please. He shrugged it off but I could tell he was really sad. Well if he would just get the hint I wouldn't have to do turn him down three times a week. He let go of my arm and I pulled the box of books to me.
