One day Max and the gang went to the mall. Fang was trying to hold Max's hand as always. But even though they were part avian (they have bird wings), they still had affections & feelings.But someone unexpected showed up, Dylan.
Fang said under his breath "Why is this jerk here?" Many of the people in the flock knew who Dylan was but they didn't like him either.
Iggy (who is blind but can sense everything around him)said "Is he following us?"
Max finally said "I don't know but if he is following us we have to stay away. I don't want to deal with him and his control over me." Max was thinking "what if he is trying to get back in my mind?"
Suddenly Angel said "I just checked out his mind and he's not thinking of anything." If you were wondering Angel has the ability of mind controlling and mind reading.
Nudge finally said "Well he has to be up to something." And we all agreed.
(Dylan's pov)
I was walking by someone and they all looked familiar but I couldn't puzzle it out. I then knew. It was the flock with the beautiful Maximum Ride (Max's name) and the jealous Fang. And Iggy that's blind as a bat and Nudge that can hack into any computer in the world. So I walked over.
"Hey Max. How are you doing." I said.
Max said "Why are you following us Dylan?"
"I'm not I was just walking through the mall looking for something to eat." I said.
"Okay but you used to be all lovey dovey on me and why is it that you aren't now?" Max said.
I said " I don't know it was that they were telling me to love you. But ever sense you told me over and over again you wanted to be with Fang I took it seriously."
Fang said " What do you mean Max wanted to be with me? She barely even shows her emotions."
Max said "When you left because you thought it would be dangerous for me if you stayed with us, I thought I was going to die. All of us missed you and you replaced me with my clone. We all wanted you back." Max was crying and the flock had a few tears going down their faces.
"All I wanted to do is keep yall safe. Don't be mad if I wanted you to live in peace. I didn't want to hurt you. I love you Max."
Everyone was shocked to hear him say that. Fang doesn't talk much and he hides his feeling.
