I know I should not be afraid of this building that I pass everyday to go to the library. I tried to avoid the school because of the rumors I hear about the school that was named Kingston High. One rumor was that there was a student with amber eyes, created a toxic that murdered half of the school. I told the rumor to my older sister and she just laughed it off and told me to get over it. She also told me that if I was that scared to face the school I had two options. They were either to find a new route to walk to the library or go in the school for one day. So I decided to walk over to the school one day and I dared myself to push open the rusty gates.

The gates flew open and I slowly walked on the stones that haven’t been walked on for years.  At the entrance of the school, I saw a guy wearing a black suit, smiling. I told him that I was just going to walk through the school. He smiled and offered me a guide up to the roof top. I quickly agreed to his offer and asked him his name. The well dressed stranger called himself Tiki Miki. He opened the entrance of the school and said ladies first. I walked over to him and stepped in the school. He was right behind me, closing the doors just as I glanced around the halls. Tiki offered me his free hand; I gladly accept thinking that he was a gentleman. The hallways were trashed. I understood and we headed straight to the room that had no title on it. Tiki asked me if I wanted to see what was inside. I nodded and he opened the door. A strong disgusting scent caught me nose.

Tiki walked in and I followed, covering my nose and before my eyes I saw corpses piled up on each other. My body instantly became weak. I held myself up and he walked out of the room as I quickly escaped the scene. Tiki told me that they were the corpses of the children that used to go there. I wanted to throw up. He pointed to the stairs and told me that the rooftop is at the top of the stairs. I needed air so I quickly walked on the steps to reach the roof top. Tiki followed behind, smiling for a reason. I tried to avoid the railings because I noted that there was dry blood trailed to below. I wanted reach the roof top as quickly as I could.

As I walked to the door that opened up the roof top I felt cold fingers strangle my neck. I screamed like chalk boards being scratched on by nails. I hear Tikis voice telling me to calm down. I stopped and Tiki opened the door. I ran out thinking that the sun would heal my hallucination. The sun wasn’t out, instead the sky was grey. I turned to him and held the door close. His smile looked like he was enjoying himself, like he was expecting me to get scared. I asked him why he was here and he showed me his ID badge. I shivered as I read it. He was a student at Kingston High. Then I looked at his eyes. His eyes were amber. I stepped back and brushed passed him, telling myself that I had to get out of there.

I ran to my home and shut myself in my room thinking that I was safe. Boy, I was wrong; I laid on my bed when I heard someone knock on my door. I asked who it was but no answer. A second later I felt tied down on the bed. I looked at my hands and ankles. There were fingers grasping me to the bed. I looked up and I saw Tiki looking down at me with his sinister smile. He told me that I was trapped in the school forever. I told him that I was at home. He shook his head and then I remembered the gates. I didn’t get pass them.
