The next day, the whole team was gathered in Breckenridge. "So, why are we here?" HAO asked. "Well, yesterday I got this weird feeling that I should go to Thalia's old house in St. Louis." Tobin said. "And the reason you're here is what I found there. Come on out!" I walked out of my blacksmith workshop to stand by Tobin. "Thalia?" Syd asked. "You're alive?" "Yep." I said. "Coach and I had it all planned out. If we lost the battle, I would be transformed into a boy and teleported to my old house in St. Louis, and when the time was right, another member of the seven would find me." after I explained all this, my teammates all came forward to greet me. Lauren Cheney and Amy Rodriguez came up and both slapped me across the face. "Ow!" I said. "What the hell was that for?" "Tobin!" Cheney said. "Have you got any idea what you did to the poor girl?!" "She had to come stay with us for three months because you left your shadow everywhere here!" Arod said. "Every bloody thing in this town reminded her of you, and a number of things from video games to swords reminded her of you even when she wasn't here. She cried herself to sleep every night!" "Whoa, guys." Tobin said, putting her arms around me protectively. "It's alright. I understand why she did those things, and I understand how hard it was for her. I forgive her." "Why does everyone on this team think it's a good idea to greet me by slapping me in the face?!" I complained. "This is the third time in two days!" "The third time?" Cheney asked. "Yeah!" I said. "Abby did it, you two did it, and Hope did it! I've come to the conclusion that you all just like abusing my face!" "Sorry about that." Arod said, laughing. "We were just pissed at you. No hard feelings?" "No hard feelings." I said, smiling. I was back where I belonged, and everything was perfect.
