All I would feel is darkness surround me,
pressuring me with its loneliness,
I was afraid to give my heart away,
For I think no one would accept it used,
I was clueless,
Stumbling upon life's many paths,
It was a long road of misery,
That is...until I met her.
She was beautiful,
For her smile was infectious.
Her eyes, which peered into my soul and had seen good in me,
Her words, which were tender and sweet,
Moved me to tears...
Her laugh, so heavenly,
Made me reminiscent of old times.
And her tone, which serenaded me to peacefulness...
She was amazing in her external form.
But inside, was something else,
Her soul, the purest of lights,
Had shined bright within mines...
Her caring, which stretched to tears and begging,
Had astonished me.
I never would've thought a woman, who is so extraordinary... would exist.
My life was in tatters, in shambles...
Until I met HER.
