Chapter 1: school

Jackie's pov
  I groan as I hear my alarm going off. I toss and fumble with my blankets to get them off of me. I huff and turn my body around reading the time 6:30. I groan once again in annoyance and let out a huge sigh before I get up and get ready for school. Second semester has just started meaning bye bye winter but that won't happen until a few months go by. I walk over to my dresser and get my phone that is on top and unlock it to play some music as I get ready. I scroll through my playlist and click on 'favs💞' and instantly, my ears are filled with music. I set my phone aside and walk towards my closet choosing out a black pair of jeans with a white cropped shirt and my adidas shoes.

I quickly grab my clothes as well as undergarments and walk towards my bathroom, once I'm in I strip off my clothes and turn on the shower. As I walk in, I'm immediately hit with the hot water, relaxing my muscles. After the normal routine I turn off the water making my body freeze. I quickly grab 2 towels from a cabinet , one for my head, the other for my body. I then go to the sink to find myself already brushing my teeth. Once I'm done I put on my outfit and apply mascara and some chapstick. I undo the towel that was on my head and decided to leave it in their natural waves.

I look at myself in the mirror satisfied with what I'm wearing and how I look. I then go back into my room hearing my phones music stop and hear a ringtone meaning someone is calling me. I grab my phone and answer it putting it on speaker. "Hellooo beautiful creature" I say. "Why hello sugar plum" Melody's voice echoed "I'm calling to inform you that I'm almost at your house" she finishes. "Kk" I say grabbing a pair of socks to put on my feet. "Okey-dokey, welp that's it" she said before hanging up. A few minutes later I hear the door open "honey I'm home" melody yells from downstairs. "In my room" I yell back. "First day back at the hell hole" she groans as soon as she enters my wonderful room. "Hello to you too" I laugh. "Shut up" I put my hand on my chest and gasp "how dare you" I glare at her. She laughs and once I'm done putting my shoes on we head downstairs to the kitchen.

I pull out 2 bowls; one for mels and the other for myself. I glance at the microwave to check the time seeing it was 7:12, we had plenty of time. I fish for the milk and cereals and quickly combine them inside the bowl. Also grabbing two spoons.

"Thank you doofus" Melody says. "You're welcome ass face" I respond. Once we were done we put our dishes in the sink and headed out to my car or shall I say my baby. I fancy my car. Considering I worked my ass-off to get this baby.

I hop in the drivers seat and sped off to school which I do not fancy at all. Once we get to school I look at my phone only to find we were way too early; 7:26. "There's hardly any people here" Mel said. "Because we my friend are very early" I explain. "Starbucks?" I question and she quickly nods.

Once we got our drinks we head back to school and quickly enter the building. "See you in second period boo boo" I wave at melody, she nods and scurries away. I huff and head down the hallway making a right quickly, only to find my drink spilling on my shirt and hearing a whole bunch of "oh my gosh I am so sorry" or "I feel so terrible" from a female voice. I look up to see a fairly short figure gasping while covering her mouth with her hands, in front of me. I sigh and shake my head telling her it was alright and we all have incidents. "Here you can use my sweater and I'll give you money to buy a new shirt" she quickly pulls out her wallet and gives me a $50 bill in her shaky hands. "No no no it's okay but I'll take the sweater" I laugh. She nods her head and hands me her sweater. "My names Jackie" I smile, just to let her know I am not mad or angry with her actions. "My names Jade" she quickly responds. I smile at her nervousness; aww she's so cute "what class do you have right now" I say while slipping on her sweater and zipping up the zipper. "I have math with Mr.wise , they switched my whole schedule because I am now in calculus" she says confidently. I have a smirk plastered on my face "Oh we have the same class". "Really oh my gosh yay I am so excited I know a person in there now I don't have to sit alone" she rants. "Yes and you'll love him , he's a great teacher he makes everything so easier" I add.

We hear the bell ring and we quickly head to class. We take a seat and Mr.wise soon begins lecturing.

The day quickly ends and I soon find myself walking towards my car with melody by my side. I hear faint chants of my name and I turn my head to see who is calling me. "Jackie wait up" I hear more clearly and I stop to fully turn around to see the commotion. "Hey I-I just wanted to know if I can have my sweater back" Jade nervously laughs and pants showing she is extremely out of breathe. "Oh my I totally forgot, uh here you go" I take off the sweater and hand it to her with an embarrassed look on my face. "Thanks , oh and uh if you guys want I'm having a Bon fire at my house today at 5 do you guys want to go? I can text you my address if you'd like " she says referring to melody and I. I look over to melody and she nods. "Yeah, sure we'll go" I smile at her, we quickly exchange numbers and
soon hear my phone buzz indicating me she had already texted me her address. We say our goodbyes and start heading to my lovely car. We hop in, turning my baby to life we drive straight to my casa. "Why do you have a poop looking stain on your shirt?" Melody laughs at my semi white shirt. "Long story short this is how I met jade" I return the laughter. "She seems cool". " you literally didn't even talk to her" I laugh once again. I glance at her and she raises her shoulders and bringing them back down signaling an 'I don't care'. We pull up to my drive way, hurriedly getting off the car and into my home. My house was always cold and melody and I loved the coldness it brought, it was just comforting. "What time was the Bon-fire?" Melody asks while walking upstairs to my room. "At 5 why?" I question plopping myself down on my bed. "Great, we have a 1 hour nap and leaves us an our to get ready" she answers adjusting herself so that she can sleep properly. I join her, setting a timer to wake up in an hour then setting my phone aside and bringing my hands under my head for extra comfort. My eyes begin to feel heavy and I drift off to sleep.
