More Than This

My bare feet dragged themselves along the untouched the sand,my hands wrapped loosely around Zoe's I trailed along the beach with her hanging off the back off me as I gave her a piggy back through the Sand. Zoe was my best friend and had been since we were 12 ,we never left each others sides ,never! We had been through everything and anything,I loved her like she was family,I loved her more than that...

Me and the boys had just landed in California as part of our 3rd world tour since the xfactor ,the sunset glided down infront of me and Zoe ,not a soul in sight across my boss,Simon cowells private beach.

"Remember V festival last year?" Zoe asked me grinning.

"Yeah" I said in a stupid voice making her laugh.

"When we went skinny dipping?" She giggled.

"I'm not going skinny dipping!" I lied.

I grabbed tight hold of Zoe and sprinted towards the calm sea screaming.

"NIALL PUT ME DOWN!" She laughed and squirmed. my legs splashed amongst the water as I burst into the bright blue water. I squatted down which left just our necks upwards bobbing up and down in the water.

A blinding flash accrued in the corner off my eye,Zoe's eyes squinted shut as it hit her.

"Wish these paps would do one!" She yelled, Zoe hated the paparazzi. They were forever saying we were dating,despite how much I wished it was true. She didn't ,fans gave her so much hate for being so close to me,but I didn't care.

"It's a private beach they shouldn't be aloud here!" I was getting quite annoyed,the paps weren't exactly on the beach but they were on a set of rocks crumbling on the other side of the bay.

"Should we do the usual?" Zoe giggled.

We flung our hands out the water from underneath us and revealed our middle fingers sticking high up in the air ,right at them.

Secretly I couldn't wait for the pictures to be published.

I clasped Zoe's waist and flung her through the air and she landed with a splash beside me ,she jumped up and grabbed my foot ,dragging me under the water.

"HAHAHAH" she sarcastically laughed.

"Hate you" I stuck my tongue out at her.

"Love you to" she winked at me.

I felt a lump stick in the back of my throat,I quickly swallowed it back down hoping Zoe didn't notice.

"We better go back up,the boys will be going off it If we don't show up soon" I suggested.

Simon had kindly let us stay in one of his million dollar mansions ,it was enormous! You could easily get lost in it.

We trailed ourselves back up to the back door of the house ,laughing and giggling all the way.

"Where have you been?" Liam screamed at us as we stumbled carelessly through into the lounge where Liam,Louis,Harry and Zayn were seated uncomfortably on a longer leather sofa.

"The beach" I laughed throwing my arm around Zoe as we stood infront off the lads ,who didn't look to happy.

"Thanks for telling us!" Liam snarled.

"We were just down there LiBear!" Zoe giggled pointing to the beach.

"You can't stay mad at her Liam!" Harry laughed shrugging his shoulders towards Liam as Zoe pulled off her famous puppy dog face.

"Where's Perrie?" Zoe asked Zayn who was slouched in the corner off the sofa texting away on his iPhone.

Perrie was Zayns Girlfriend who he had been dating for around 8 months now,I liked Perrie. She was really funny and great to get along with.

"Upstairs ,she isn't feeling to well." Zayn hesitated,knowing something was up.

"I'll go check on her" Zoe trailed out the room and trotted neatly up the large wooden stair case.

"Have you told her yet?" Harry asked leaning forward as I flung my self next to him.

"No" I mumbled staring at the floor.

"Why Mate! What's the worst that could happen?" Louis raised an eyebrow towards me.

"We're to close,what if I ruin our friendship?" I sighed throwing my head into my hands.

The boys all swayed their heads and tutted at me. I was desperate to tell Zoe how I felt ,but I honestly couldn't.

"Niall can I have a word?" Zoe's head popped around the door,shit? Did she hear me?

I got up instantly,turned to the boys with a worried look struck across my face and headed for the door to where I was lead out into a hallway ,Zoe was now already halfway up the wooden staircase ,so I followed her panicking up into Zayn and Perries room.

I flung the large wooden door open to perrie sitting with bloodshot eyes in a slump along the bed,Zoe holding her.

"Niall... Perries- erm pregnant" Zoe spat out. Wow I was not excepting this! But I was overwhelmed.

"No way! I smiled.

"Zayn will be gutted! We've haven't even been dating a year." Perrie cried.

"Are you crazy? He will love this "I yelled out.

We circled around the freshly lit fire as its orange embers floated gracefully around us.

"Congrats to zayn and perrie!" Harry lifted his glass,all our glasses clinked with one an other as we celebrated Zayn and Perries news that they announced earlier on tonight,nobody knew except us.

Everyone was pretty drunk by now,except perrie for obvious reasons!

My phone vibrated in my pocket ,everyone went silent as I picked up-

"Ello" I cheered down the line.

'Niall,we are not happy with your behaviour today at the beach with Zoe'

"I don't care! Leave me alone you freaks" I shouted in a stupid voice down the phone to Modest management ,our management agency. Modest were forever nagging us ,and I was well and truly sick!

"Management?" Louis guessed.

I nodded my head careless towards him.

"Zoe,lets to for a walk" I whispered In her ear.

The boys nudged one an other as we both staggered up,it was safe to say Zoe was pretty drunk!

"Niall" Zoe slurred as we tumbled along the beach.

"Yep" I stared into her eyes.

"Love you" she blew a kiss at me,was she being serious?

"Really?" I crossed my fingers.

"Yeah! Who couldn't love ya!" She shouted.

"Love you to" I mumbled under my breath.

"What?" Zoe asked.

"I love you" I picked up my courage.

Zoe flung her arm around me ,pulling me in for a tight side hug as she smiled at me.

And that was all that happened that night.
