Templar Assassin: In Defense of The Temple (Two-shot excerpt of ongoing novel)

I opened my hack engine and typed in a code. It doesn't show any responses so the mysterious Blank shouldn't have had any hacks on.

It was already late in the game and I still haven't progressed through my personal mission: "To Kill Templar Assassin."

[] (Templar Assassin) just pwned UrTheOnlyOne (Enchantress) for 135 gold!

[] (Templar Assassin) just pwned Too_Good_I_Crai (Dragon Knight) for 450 gold!

[] (Templar Assassin) is dominating.

Fucking hell.

As I approached their bottom lane by taking the river route, the temperature seems to be dropping. I mean, my bat is literally on fire so it would be no joke why there was a sudden rush of coldness that swept in front of me.

"Swift as the wolves of Icewrack!" I heard the Crystal Maiden say as she blinked herself to the Dire territory.

Knowing that her blink dagger is still on cooldown, I took this opportunity to hit her with my Sticky Napalm, "Goo on you, baby!"

She stopped on her tracks and started hitting me with ice from her staff. "I'll freeze you fast!" She threatened. But who would be threatened from a blonde chick who's cold as ice and by the looks of it, with a very mainstream barbie doll design?

I pushed R on my keyboard to cast my Flaming Lasso on Rylai.

"Lasso up!" I declared as I caught her on my lasso's grip. I then activated Firefly to barbecue the maiden during the free ride. With her blink on cooldown and by taking extra damage, she'll never be able to escape.

I could hear her grunt as she tried to break away from the lasso. All I could do was to cackle at her suffering.

"Burned.." she groaned in despair as I looked back and saw her icy figure disappear into the river.

"Crystal Maiden, you were a tall glass of ice water," I replied in a very western accent. I mean, I actually do have a western accent.

With the Ice Maiden dead, Lanaya would not have the Arcane Aura around her which gives her a lot of mana. I just hope Rylai would be dead longer.

Just then a set of purple blades hit me from behind. My health bar has quickly gone to half.

Shit! It's her!

I threw a bottle of flaming cocktail to Lanaya but as she came back into view, I saw her unharmed. She has this golden aura around her. As the color circled, an image of a gold and black staff with a head almost looking like a ram, formed at her behind, protecting her. The Black King Bar was activated which means, she currently has 100% magic resistance.

Great. Just great.

My Flaming Lasso is supposed to burn this assassin but it's still on cooldown as of the moment. Ugh. I wish I bought the Refresher Orb. It would have reset the cooldown of my abilities by now.

My bat gave a loud wail and started to fly away from whatever it is afraid of. "Steady on, girl!" I bellowed as she grew unsteady, almost knocking me off from my seat. I put her into a halt and got her to fly back where Lanaya was.

Speaking of the assassin, where is she now? Her bitch self probably ran out of mana and took the opportunity to escape and go back to their base. Well, I don't know. You never know. Just probably.

Good thing 'cause my Flaming Lasso is still on cooldown. Sigh.

I do have an idea though.

I blinked myself to the Dire territory and hid in between some trees.
