Fire and Ice

chapter 3

Miwanna POV

I go outside my room balcony and see the snow-covered trees. I look down and see frost animals eating and sleeping. I look at the town and see children playing with the snow and icicles I placed down. I try to get a glimpse outside the walls we have to have, that is surrounding the kingdom. I became sad and remembered my mother. I cant believe this. I grabbed my brush and start brushing my blue parts. I sigh as I look at myself in the mirror. Suddenly a red-haired girl appears in the mirror. I jump as I was startled. W-Was that a....a fire princess? It appeared another time and thats when I froze the mirror. It was a girl. Tan skin with a necklace and a crown made out of gold and a lava ruby in the middle. She had light brown eyes and red hair. She was a dragon too -wait a minute, she's like me, but totally different. Should I meet this person? If I wanted to, how am I gonna get out? I walk back and forth in my room and sighed. I walk to my bed and pet my snow wolf Buma. I petted his ear and he licks my face with his light blue tongue. I smile as I back up to see his face.

Miwanna: Should I actually see this princess, I mean she is a Flame. And I cant leave this castle.

I say to Buma

Buma: Sure, why not? I always missed the forests that aren't kept within these walls.

I nodded and agree. I wasn't gonna ask my dad because I know he would say no.

I started to pack my bag with some fire resistant armour but the fire clan is also a blue flame too, meaning the blue fire is made out of water. I could possibly negotiate with the princess and trick her into saying her clan gives up in the war we have been fighting for years and decades.

I was finally done packing and was thinking I was gonna get Neus and Boreus, my friends of wind and snow. I had a crush on Neus for quite some time and hope I can get him to accept my offering as king because I know, he has an eye on the flame princess, which I hate so much.

Althena POV

I run through the town, dark and cold. I was off to meet Milan and Bedros for them to come. I wanted Bedros to be with me but I'm having second thoughts for him and thinking about Milan cause they both like me.

I was gonna visit my friend from the Natuca Clan, Floranza. She was my best friend but I had to be extremely careful with her due to the fact that she is a grass element.

As I make it to Milan's house, I look at his window and see him sleeping. I shine a little light to see more and see that he didnt have a shirt on. I blushed at the sight but went away when the thought had gone out of my head. I opened the window and slowly flew to his bed. I look at his face and I lean closer to his face, getting every detail of it and his red glowing eyes slightly showing. I lean in closer until our lips were about to be connected....

Milan: What ARE you doing...?

Althena: AAAAAAAAHH!!!

I rushed backwards and hit my head and tripped over something. I hear Milan coming over rushing to help me up but then tripped as well and was above me. My face becomes heated up as I look into his eyes. He quickly gets up and falls on his bed. I get up startled of what just happened.

Milan: What the heck are you doing here...In my ROOM?

Althena: OH..right. I came here to get you

Milan: Why?

Althena: Uhh, to go to the Freezic Clan.

Milan: HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?! WE ARE FORBIDDEN TO GO THERE! We would both be dead if we get out of the walls.

Althena: Well I dont care. Now go get ready cause we are bringing along Bedros too.

Milan: That rock head. Are you serious?

Althena: Yes cause he is our friend.

Milan: True. ALRIGHT. Let me pack my stuff.

///at the Freezic Clan...///

Miwanna POV

As I start heading out, my father, King Snow, catches me, and puts me in a head lock.

King Snow: And where do you think your going?

He scans my appearance; my turquoise winter jacket, my bow and arrows, and a satchel.

Miwanna: Oh, uhh..Im going to see Neus and Boreus. I made a little game for us to play. If you don't mind me going out of the castle and going to Neus' place.

He nodded. He grabs my head and pulls it for a kiss as he plants one on my forehead.

King Snow: Just don't go outside the walls. Its also dark and I don't want you to get hurt.

I nodded and hugged him quickly. As I was about to leave, he positioned me the direction to my mother's shrine and grave. I guess I had to visit it first.
I flew over to thr shrine that was outside out in the gardens, right next to the baby polar bears where they protect the grave..

"The beauty won't fade forever as long as this grave stands..."

It said on the ground of the grave. There were ice bell flowers surrounding the snow rose bushes, with light blue roses on top of the snow. I start to tear up as I remember the memories I had. I will avenge you, mother.....
