Vikki's POV:
(Will explain how Kat is alive.)

Chapter 22:

I watched this woman as she looked at Melissa we put her under some drugs to make her sleep so she wasn't violent .

Vanessa was bitting her nails and tapped the lady.
"How is Kat alive?" She asked looking at her body.

The woman sighed and touched Kat's cheek.
"People like us cannot die.. Don't get me wrong we can, but not by a bite. The bite just hurt her in a way her heart stopped.. Poisoning her."

It was kind of weird. I told the lady Melissa is the one who bit her, but she didn't seem to care.
She wanted to save them both and I didn't now why. Melissa was the cause of her.. Well fake death?

"So she is asleep?"

She nodded.
"They both are, deep sleep that only someone they love can help them come out of it, in Melissa's case that is you I would presume, as for Kat.. "
She looked at Vanessa as she looked worried.

"You can't, Vanessa is still weak and young."

"I am not, I have been training with mom!" She snapped standing up.

I looked at her shocked as her eyes widened and she hit her head.
"We will talk about it later.."

"It is dangerous Vanessa.. You could go into darkness as well."

"Vanessa you can't , it's not safe."

"But you doing it? Is ?"

I bit my lip and sighed. She didn't understand.
I was being and Adult about this, I was more powerful and stronger.. She is just getting ust to her wolf.

"Vanessa.. Please-

"I'll be fine, if something happen's. You'll get me" she smiled.

"Your mother is going to kill me."

"Not if I beat you to saving Kat." She laughed .

I smiled and kissed her head.
"Please be safe."

She nodded..

The woman walked over to me and had me lay down next to Melissa. I grabbed her hand and held it.
"Close your eyes. You'll be in her head."

I took a deep breathe and nodded. I closed my eyes and focused on Melissa.

I opened my eyes to tell her it didn't work.. But it did.
I was in all darkness. The only thing bright was me.

'MELISSA!' I yelled .
My voice echoed.

I walked forward looking for her. I could hear someone calling out to me but it was so faint .. It was a whisper.

'Melissa! Don't let this consume you! Your a better person! Your family is waiting for you.. I'm waiting for you!!' I yelled loudly.

Still nothing as I walked more, I ran even looking for her. Darkness was everywhere. I kept telling my self not to give up.
I can't .

'MELISSA' my wolf growled out.

A small light came from infront of me . I ran to it.

Melissa's wolf was there, weak and almost out of her light.
I felt my wolf leave my body and go to her.
I watched as she tried helping her, pushing her up. She was so weak she couldn't move.

Tears came down my cheek as I watched my wolf trying to help her.
The whimpering made me want to drop to my knees and cry.

'Vikki'

I looked next to me shocked to see Melissa. But she was so pale and had makeup running down her face from crying .

'Melissa, you have to think positive. You-

'Vikki, my wolf .'

I looked over at her as she laid there. Her light was blinking on and off. My wolf howled and laid next to her.
I looked next to me and Melissa vanished and was now behind her wolf. She covered her naked body and had her eyes shut.

I was losing her. Was this really the end..
I balled my fist.

'WAKE UP MELISSA!' I screamed.
My wolf looked at me.

'MELISSA IM NOT GIVING UP ON YOU!' I yelled louder.

Melissa looked at me. Her dark eyes watched me. Her wolf had her head up .
She could hear me.

I cried.
'YOUR FAMILY NEEDS YOU!'
I screamed at her.
'YOUR BABIES NEED YOU!'

'DONT LET YOURSELF BE DARK!! YOUR PACK NEEDS YOU!' I yelled and ran towards her.

Her wolf looked at me as mine disappeared back into me.
'COME BACK TO ME!!'

Her eye's went back to her crystal blue ones as she was crying. I grabbed her wrapping my arms around her.
'Come home' I whispered.

She broke down crying as she held me back.
She started to glow again. Her wolf stood up on her own.

'Thank you' she vanished back inside Melissa.

I gasped as I opened my eyes. Violet came to me checking me out. I looked at Melissa. She hasn't moved .

Finally she sprung up coughing gasping for air.
Her packed screamed for her as I smiled and looked at Melissa.

She looked at my eyes and broke down into tears. She covered her face as one by one each pack member hugged her.

I smiled and looked over at Vanessa and Kat hugging one another.
Vanessa smiled at me hugging Kat as she cried.

I looked back at Melissa as she looked at me
I whipped away her tears and kissed her soft lips.
Our wolves were screaming with happiness.
I laid my forehead against her's as I smiled at her.

"Welcome home."

She smiled.
"It's good to be home."
