High School Drama (In the Middle of Editing!)

High School Drama(Chp-1-2)

(This was my first story ever...soo...excuse all the mis spellings and the all over the placeness :P)

Chapter 1

 It was a Tuesday, when the hottest guy in school came up to me, and asked ME to go to the prom with him. Out of all people, he asked me.  Garrett Huggins, the finest boy you would ever see in Balten County. With dirty blonde hair and the most amazing hazel eyes.. He was the catcher for the baseball team. He also just broke up with his girlfriend Hilary(Score on my part), the popular evil witch brunette. While me, I was almost 5’7 in height, with layered, dirty blonde hair that went to my shoulders. I had baby blue eyes and a adorable smile(from what I'm told) I wasn’t in the popular group, though, I was a sporty kind of girl. I played Pitcher and 2nd for my high school team.

 It was lunch time. Me and my friends, Madyson, who has brown hair that was scrunched up, with her red tank and blue jeans kinda tainted, and Annie, who was wearing a softball shirt and some khakis, were sitting there, talking, when I saw Garrett. His hazel eyes met my blue ones. He smiled at me, got up, and started coming my way.

“Kaylen, Garrett’s coming!” Madyson said, while nudging my side with her elbow.

Garrett stopped in front of me, got down on one knee, and smiled.

We have been friends since 2nd grade, but this, looking into each other’s eyes moment, hasn’t happened since 5th grade. I was so in love then, but love then considered that butterfly feeling and holding hands.

“Hey.” He said in that very deep voice of his.

“Hey.” I replied, smiling.

 “So, since I don’t have a date for prom yet, I was wondering, would you like to come with me?”

I stared at him. Is this for real? I thought. “I-I-I would love to.” I stuttered.

Garrett then stood up and said, “Cool! I’ll see ya around, Kaylen.” Then he left.

“Bye Garrett.” I breathed.

Madyson and Annie stared at me in shock. “YOU HAVE A DATE WITH GARRETT HUGGINS!” Madyson shouted in excitement.

“Yeah, what she said.” Annie squealed.

I had to be the happiest girl ever! But then, Hillary wasn’t pleased. She started walking my way in her pink heels, with a matching pink vest jacket on top of a white shirt and a skirt.

“So, you and Garrett, my boyfriend, are going to prom I hear.” She sneered. Her green eyes enraged.

“Yeah, kind of, do you have a problem with it? Oh, and you mean ex boyfriend.” I said confidently.

“No, not really. Just that you’re going with a total hottie, when you’re a total nottey.” She laughed with Amber and Carson. The blonde minions were wearing the same thing as their queen bee.

“Really? Then why did Garrett break up with poor little you and asked me out? Oh, but you were right, I’m not just a hottie, ‘coz I’m smokin’ and I have real friends.” I said while laughing. Hilary just stood there, shocked that I defended myself.

When lunch was over, I got up and headed to class. Garrett had this Biology period with me.  When I was headed out, Garrett came up and put his arm around me. I put my head on his shoulder. We got to class and took our seats. I also had this class with Lindsey. She was a blonde beauty with hazel eyes. We sat together and listened to Mr. Crook.

The day went by fast and we were on our way to the bus. I told Garrett that I’ll give him a call later, while Annie and I rode the bus.
