Kai's P.O
Flames. All I see is flames. They were as red as blood and as hot as the sun. They tore through everything like a wave of destruction, leaving only sorrow behind. I stand frozen in my room, the flames surround me. Trapping me in the one place I found peaceful and bliss. Not anymore. My room was now a trap, and the only option was death.

The flames lowered and suddenly split down the middle, traveling a tall man.
"Help me. Please!" I screamed for his help and pleaded for safety. The guy smirked and grabbed me. I'm now relieved and terrified with this action. I can't think straight. The smoke was going to my head. I was losing consciousness quickly.

"Do you recognise them?" The man's voice snapped me back to reality and look over to where he was pointing. I let out a faint whimper. I had now entered the kitchen and was mortified by the sight. I see my father's lifeless body hanging from the roof, burning to ash. My mother and my younger sister were both tied to a chair. The flames danced around their limbs, as if teasing them with its hot touch.  They're screaming in fear. And in pain.

"Help them! Please. They mean the world to me!" The mysterious man has a smirk plastered on his face. He leans down and whispers in my ear.
"But you haven't seen the full show" I looked at him confused. Fear is now sinking into every part of me.
"What do you me-" I was cut off when I ear piercing scream erupted from my mother. She was now drowning in flames. I looked at the man horrified. He flicks his wrist and flames start to attack my sister.

Rage filled me. The feeling of hatred started to take over. Before I can even register what I was thinking. I grabbed a knife and plunged it into his chest. He lets out a surprised gasp. Blood starts pouring out of his mouth and the wound started turning black. He dropped to the floor and with a loud thud, he turned to ash.

The sound of my alarm clock pulls me out of my dream. For the last six years I've been reliving that memory every time I close my eyes. I was only ten when I lost my parents. I'm now sixteen and completely devoted my life to hunting down the beasts that take the shape of a human. Fire elementals.  To this day, their very existence fills me with rage. I vowed to hunt very last one.
