The Roomate

Chpt. 1. College

It was my DREAM to get into Beecher Prep College. And when I got the letter in the mail, I was almost in tears of joy.

Of course my mom was her emotional self....lol. But that meant leaving her side. Which, I wasn't ready for.
-Tuesday Morning-
"Honey, are your bags packed?" asked my mom.
"Yes mom."I said. "How far is the airport?"
"About 1 hour and a half."
"Um, do I have enough gas?"
"Yes honey. Now hurry up! You don't want to be late now do we!"she said with a smile but almost crying.
As I was driving to the airport, I got a call from Jeremy.
"Hey babe"
"Hey" I said
"Where are you? I want to say a last goodbye for s while."
"Actually I'm driving to the airport. I'm about an hour away."
"Oh," he said sniffling. " I'm going to miss you. Please text me."
"I will"

Finally after for like ever I make it into Florida. Then it takes about 10 minutes on a bus to get into my college.

Then I finally got there.
"Hello what is your name." The lady said.
"Kelsey Landhart"I said.
"Ok your sharing with....Kitt?"
"Who?" I said confused
"Kitt. She's your roomate."
"Um....ok"
"Well here is your room key and a packet that has everything you need to know about this college. Have a good day!"
"Thanks..." I said unsure.

I walked into the room and her stuff was on the top bunk. I see her lay on the floor.
"Um...hello?"
She didn't say anything. She just lied there. Not doing anything. Didn't even look like she was breathing.
"Hello................"she said.
"Hi"
"I hope your ok with the....." She stopped. Just stopped. And stared at me.
"Don't be creeped out by any of my stuff ok?"
"Why would I be..?"
"Never mind..."

That night a boy walked in. As me and her were sleeping! He walked in. I was sort of awake, but I heard just a little of it.
"Kitt....come on."he said. He sounded old but not elderly. Like about 40. We are like 20.
"Mkay."she said. "Where are we going tonight?"
"The boothill Bar."
"Nice."

As they left I started to think. Should I switch rooms? It's starting to scare me...am I in deep deep danger? Or deep deep trouble or depression? I have to figure this out.
