After Mileena's death D,vorah reported to Quan Chi. Quan Chi was loyal to Shinnok but he had his doubts and started the midst of Mileena's rebirth. He would've kept one of the flesh pit clones but after Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn's death the clones were no longer active. Quan Chi made Mileena's new clone secretly in an undisclosed location. Though it was hard to work on her because he was also making Shao Kahn's clone. He knew that special forces were coming to get him so when he went to work on Shao Kahn's clone he brought revenants to help him defeat the spec.ops.
