Daisy Jennings p.o.v

I'm going to kill her, I thought angrily.

Ivy forgot to pick me up from school, again. I was standing there for over an hour waiting for her.

When I found her, she was so dead. I thought as I walked up the driveway to our house.

Ivy's car was in the driveway, but weirdly enough I noticed the front door was wide open. As I stepped into the house I noticed it was silent, strange.

"Ivy?" I called out as I put my school bag down next to Ivy's purse.

There was no reply. I began to walk upstairs to Ivy's room. As I walked up the stairs I could hear the shower running. "Ivy?" I called again as I knocked on her room door.

Once again there was no answer so I walked in to see her room was trashed. Glass and clothes covered the floor. I paused before taking a deep breath.

Her room is always a mess so the clothes aren't that surprising. I tried to tell myself as I began to feel scared. Something was wrong. As I walked to the door that led to her bathroom I could hear glass crunch under my feet.

"Ivy?" I asked as I knocked on the bathroom door. Still, there was no reply. I walked into the large bathroom. The shower was running but I couldn't tell if she was inside because of the curtain.

"Nothing is going to happen," I whispered to myself as I took hold of the end of the curtain. I felt like I was in a horror movie and something was going to jump out at me.

I pulled the curtain open to find the shower was empty. If the shower is empty then why is the water running? I thought. I felt the water and it was ice cold even though it was turned on to hot. It must have been running like this for a while if the hot water was gone.

I turned the water off and pulled out my phone to call Ivy. "Hey, it's Ivy. Sorry, I couldn't get to the phone right now. Leave a message...or don't." Voicemail. I ended the call.

I called again but it went straight to voicemail for the second time.

If stupid Ivy doesn't answer her phone I just might murder her when I find her, I thought as anger and panic began to set in.

I walked out of her bathroom and back into her bedroom as I looked around. Just then I heard the front door open. I rushed downstairs to see it was my mom.

"Is Ivy with you?" I asked as I looked out the window to see outside. Mom gave me a confused look. "Ivy should be here." She answered with her dark brown eyes full of worry. "She isn't. And, she didn't pick me up either." I informed her.

Mom tossed her stuff to the couch as she took her phone out. "I already tried calling. It went straight to voicemail," I explained. My mother held out her finger as if to silence me. Finally, my mother said on her phone: "Hi Stella, how are you?"

I could hear a mumble as Stella, Ivy's best friend, responded. "I'm good, is Ivy with you?" My mother asked. Again I could hear a mumble as Stella replied. "She isn't? Okay thank you anyway. Bye." My mom said before hanging up.

"Mom?" I asked. Our mom turned to me, making her black hair swing. I sighed "I think something happened to Ivy."

"Why do you think that?" She asked me back in confusion. So I began to explain everything from the moment that I walked up the driveway.

"So the front door was open?" I asked a young girl who went by Daisy. "Yes, wide open," Daisy said as she took her glasses off and rubbed her eyes before putting them back on.
