Chapter 16:2 -

Natapos na yung party at mga 2:30 na nung nakapasok kami sa room namin. Hinatid na rin ako ni Ralph pero bago kami pumunta sa kwarto, dumeretso muna kaming dalawa sa garden.

"Happy birthday baby." Niyakap ako ni Ralph tapos hinalikan sa noo.

We stayed like that for almost a minute, syempre pati ako nakayakap din sakanya.

"Pangilang greet na yan ah, haha. Thank you ulit." Bumitaw na kaming dalawa sa yakap at lumipat naman kamay nya sa isang akbay.

"Babe. I'm so lucky to have you. At kinilig nga pala ako sa performance mo kanina. I love you." Nahihiya kong pagbulong kay Ralph.

"Babe, alam mo ba, hiyang hiya ako nung ginagawa ko yun. Pero nung inisip ko na sasaya ka naman, syempre ginawa ko parin. Kala ko nga mapapaos ako dun sa sobrang kaba ko." sagot nya.

Hinalikan nya ako sa pisngi.

"You made my night. That was the BEST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION, so far. "

Nakuha nya pang magpicture. Hahaha, nung nakarating na kami sa room ko, nagpaalam sya at hinalikan ako sa noo.

"Goodnight babe." Pagpapaalam nya.

"Goodnight din."

"I love you baby." He winked. I felt like melting. Kinilig ako ng di oras. :((((

"I love you too!" I answered and smiled.

Hay salamat Lord. Pumasok na ako sa room at nadatnan ko si mommy na nagcecellphone lang sa kama.

"Oh anak, you're here na pala." Salubong nya saakin.

"Ah. Opo, galing lang po sa kami sa baba ni Ralph."

"Ah. 3 na. Matulog ka anak." Bakit parang iba si mommy ngayon? Mas.... mabait.

"Opo. Kayo din po mommy. Nga pala, thank you for this super unforgettable birthday mommy! Sainyo po ni dad, thank you!" i kissed her sa cheeks.

"No problem, anak." Sagot ni daddy. Habang naglalakad ako palayo, narinig kong nagsalita ulit si mommy.

"Nga pala Ly, kanina. Yung sinabi ko sa message ko."

"Ano po yun?"

"Well, i...... we cancelled the agreement with the Li's." W-w-what?? C-cancel??!

"M-mom, se-seryoso po ba kayo?"

"I decided, na, why not. I've been up for nights thinking about it. You're already 18 and i think i don't have to boss you around because you're old enough to decide. So, there you go. The Li's and Generoso's still decided to go on with the merging but when that happened with Ivan, and i saw how happy you were, i guess this is the right thing to do." Nabunutan ako ng malaking tinik sa puso. Ano daw? Nananaginip ba ako?

"Pero, in favor na po ba kayo kay Ralph, mommy?"

"As long as he won't hurt you, then, yes."

"Grabe thank you, thank you, thank you, thaank you ng marami, mommy."

"But, there's a condition, Lyza."

"Ano po yun?"

"Lilipad na kami before Christmas back to UK. And, we decided, na, susunod ka na samin there after your graduation. College in London offers many big things!"

"Mom...." i planned to stay. I was planning to study sa UP and continue but....

"I was actually expecting a different reaction. But, i know you're already tired anak. Let's talk nalang tomorrow. Get some rest na anak, okay?"
