You were a Ice Dragon Slayer, a mage of Sabertooth, one that was rather strong so you didn't bother with boasting around about how much strength. Not only that but you were proud now to be called a Sabertooth mage, not just cause of how the guild was now with Sting as the new master..but with how the guild members were acting now.

Everything seemed to feel more alive and happier after everything happened, you all were better off without the former master. It didn't take a idiot to know that for a fact.

Though it did make things a little harder on you, two boys would constantly either fight over who would go with you on missions or would just argue in general. You didn't mind the boys though it did get annoying after a while so you learned to ignore them at times.

But for now you were on a mission by yourself with your exceed, course you got a small lecture on to be careful by Sting but you blew it off and told him you'd be fine and will be back soon as your mission was finished. Then again that didn't make much a difference from the boys being at least a bit worried.

"Well let's get this mission over with and head back! I bet those two sure are still worried...." You chuckled.

"Yeah they sure seemed to like you." Your exceed teased.

"Yeah right (E/N)" You scoffed but smiled.

Your mission was to get rid of a dark mage that was after the towns people, according to the paper and the person who asked for help the mage was a man who didn't care for who got in his way just killed anyone in his path. It pissed you off but you promised the guy you'd catch him. The town was so scared of who walked around that at first they hid from the two of you.

Still remembering the fear in their eyes made you confused at first, but when everything was explained it made scene. Course now that they were notified that you were there by showing your guild mark on your right arm by your shoulder they seemed to calm down and believe in you to be able to take down the dark mage.

"Now...they said this dark mage lives in this small forest...." You mumbled and walked down a path.

Even if you were to be able to sniff his sent out you knew very well that not all of other peoples sent would stay in one place for to long. So with that in mind you kept your guard up.

When you walked more into the forest you came into a clearing, a waterfall was there along with a small river, after that there was tree's around though on one side there was not much but rocks and a cave as well.

Carefully getting down you searched the area, next thing you knew you felt a strong pressure of powerful magic and quickly jumped back just in time from an attack.

"Who's there?!" You shouted glaring.

"Oh my.....my dear (Y/N) forgot about me?" A male's voice spoke out

When the guy walked out your eyes widen. And his name slipped passed your lips.

"No way its....(FF/N)"

"Heh...so you do remember me." He smirked.

"The hell you think your doing to this town?!" You shouted growing angry.

"Hm? Oh! I'm just making up for old times. Besides it was in an effect to get your attention, and for them to bring you here." He laughed.

And that's when the harsh and brutal fight between two former friends began, course you told your partner (E/N) to fly away so they would be safe.
